GC arrived in the mail today, only 5 days after i got the letter and online status of approval, definitely didn't expect it this soon but i'm happy to have it.
I guess this is where my ROC journey ends, bon voyage and good luck to everyone still waiting.

I included one bank statement for each quarter with activity since i opened the account (2 months after marriage) and a few credit card showing me as authorized user ones (only months with activity).

Your profile doesn't show which service center you filled at, (i suggest you complete it!), but if you filled at the Vermont one you will most likely get the stamp without a problem since they are taking about one year to process cases, if you filled CA then its a coin toss.

I got the stamp myself on dec20, only issues with it was securing an appointment slot and the 3.5 drive each way to get there lol but the actual business was alright. About using that stamp to get back into the US i have my own funny story to tell involving >2hrs waiting in secondary inspection at LAX a few days ago, so i'm really relieved that the actual card will be mailed "hopefully" not that long from now.

I signed up but got neither, only the letter in the mail and the update online on the same day (dec06), i checked the status online on dec05 and it still showed as being processed at that time.

There was no RFE and no interview.
We did go to our local USCIS office in October and they stamped the passport with a one year extension from that date. That process was quick and painless.
We submitted a very solid package with joint tax returns, marriage certificate, birth certificate of our little boy, joint bank accounts and investment accounts.
Based on recommendations by other people on various blogs we submitted several family photos as well as some with our Congressman at a couple of his events.
There shouldn't have been any doubt that we met the requirement that we have a "valid relationship."

I got a letter in the mail today saying that my case was approved as well and now the website shows that the new card is being produced, same as you, no interview and no RFE, i was almost certain i would get at least one of either since my package was about 1 inch think and i sent just a sample of bank statements but i guess they can also check stuff going back to i129F and K1 and 9 years should be enough to prove a "valid relationship" hehe.

Appointments are in really high demand. Check right after midnight every day, i got lucky on a sunday to monday night.

Got an infopass appt on dec 20 at the Pittsburgh office. Everything went well. They just ask to show the expired green card, the extension letter and obviously your passport. Spent more time in the waiting room than in the actual face to face with the IO.
IO mentioned that they are getting quite a bit of stamp requests since CCs are so far behind processing this; I asked her about my case in particular, she checked on her computer and said that it hasn't been touched in a while. She didn't dare to give an estimate but did say that they are really behind.
Coming into the country with this stamp is another different animal though. Landed in LAX a few days ago, CBP drone said she couldn't admit me right at the booth and got sent to secondary screening which was full of people (mostly asians that needed translators) and it took a bit over 2 hours to get out of there; agents at secondary screening said this is normal procedure to verify that the stamp is valid and it will be like this every time i come in using the stamp. I hope it will be different at MIA when i have to come back to the US in a week.

I travel quite frequently (3 times/month) for business to Mexico using American Airlines, never had a problem flying out of DFW, SAN, PHL, PHX and MIA.
In fact, on the way out of the US they don't even ask to see my GC/letter, all I give them is my passport.
On the way back the employees at MEX and CUN seem to know how this works and don't even fuss about it.
Maybe employees at domestic airports are not familiar with the GC/letter thing because they don't have to deal with it in the first place???

Came home yesterday and found our application on our mailbox. They sent it back indicating that the $505 was incorrect. So i will be sending it back with the correct amt of $590.
Ouch! Well, mistakes happen, and you are still within the period to file, just triple-check everything and make sure everything that has to be signed is signed and everything that has to be marked is marked, I overnighted mine on jan21 with UPS, not the cheapest option ($80 to get it to VSC by 9:30 AM) but worth the peace of mind.

Hi guys we sent out our application on the 14th January and USPS said it was delivered on 18th. I think we wrote a check for $505 instead of $590. My wife's conditional Greencard will expire on the 28th. We haven't gotten any notice yet. We don't know what to do next. Any suggestions please help.
How can you be not sure of what amount you wrote? Can you check your bank account online and see if anything has been cashed?

Weirdest thing...we no sooner put the envelope down, and I get a text. Document/Card production!! She'll have it in 30 days or less. USCIS free for 21 months!!!!

That is just how the status changes go. They seem to go backwards, but it is nothing to worry over. Your card was approved and will be on its way soon. I believe the 3rd status update tells you the card has been mailed.

The 3rd email does say the card was mailed, but they could be more helpful and provide a tracking number or something >

All she needed to show on the way out was her passport, my guess is the robot-employee went overboard because she had a return flight.
Just so you know: she mya use the "residents and citizens lane" at customs but she will be sent to the secondary inspection room when she comes back, that's normal, they may hold her for anything between 5 minutes to 4 hours (some cases even more) while they re-check information and stamp her passport with a "paroled until" stamp.

Awww congrats! I guess my file is used as some clerks place mat... Over about 6 weeks since interview waiver letter ;-)
Hopefully yours will come soon! I know the feeling of being at the mercy of USCIS too well and it's not something pleasant, just think after this you'll be free from them for two years

What about borderline "technically" enough days cases? Let's say, out of the 548 required days (18 months times 30 plus a few days for months having 31) someone has 550-ish days at the time of applying... technically it meets the requirement... I wonder how IOs treat such cases...?
