Hello,

I went for my CR1 Interview today. Consular told me that your visa has been granted. He gave me 1 yellow paper saying your visa is granted and Another one for $165 fee.

I asked him before leaving is my visa really granted and he told me yes and told me that I'll be notified through SMS on my cell number.

But when i check my status online on https://ceac.state.govit says

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days. Under the U.S. Immigration and Nationality Act, Immigrant Visas for "Diversity Visas" cannot be issued after September 30th of the year in which you were selected to apply for a Diversity Visa. For example, entrants into the Diversity Visa Program in Fall of 2011 were selected for Diversity Visa 2012 Program, and selectees MUST apply and receive their visa prior to September 30, 2012 otherwise they lose eligibility to receive a Diversity Immigrant Visa, regardless of additional administrative processing. In addition, please note that some immigrant visas may not be able to be issued if the annual numerical limit for that category has been reached.

Filling out my I-864 form right now. I've 1 quick question.

Whose Mailing Address do I have to give in 2.a on the first page of I-864 form

This is a checklist for your I-864 form.. You filled out the form wrong. All the items that have the "x" next to it were wrong. You need to fill out another I-864 form and re-send it

So I shouldn't send any other supporting documents which I've sent with my AOS Packet. Its just the i-864 form I've to send with the Bar-Coded coversheet and this checklist they have sent me?

I received this email today regarding my i-864 AOS form. AFAIK or remember I've filled the form completed. Its kinda confusing now what all do I have to send again? Is the just the I-864 form or other supporting Financial documents (EMPLOYMENT LETTER, IRS TAX TRANSCRIPTS) aswell?

What is Financial Evidence Checklist?

One more question.. Do I need to send Form I-134 (affidavit of support) aswell?

Update:- Just called NVC and they told me that they received the AOS Package on 2nd of June and they will Generate the IV bill after they review my DS-261 form which they havent yet and was submitted on 21st of May. God knows what the hell is going on with NVC.

Hello, I sent my AOS package 27th of May and NVC received it on 28th of May as per USPS. I don't know for some reason they havent entered in the system and my IV fee is not available to be paid it as I paid my AOS fee on 20th of May and Its status showed paid on 23rd of May. Does it take that long for IV bill to show up online?

yeah I'm currently gathering Documents will send 'em on monday.

I also mentioned it in the checklist I attached with my I-130 petition. Do I have to send it again? or would they send me an email or something?

** I even attached the letter of employment (Current).

is it taking exactly a month for NVC to assign the case number after receiving it?

NVC received my file on 16th of April..

Just wondering would I receive any hard copy of the transfer to NVC via post? I'vent received the hardcopy of NOA2 yet (just an email).

I just found out that I got transferred to Nebraska Service Centre. Please update that to the spreadsheet.

For some reason I received 3 emails regarding file getting transferred on 4, 5 & 6 march. Is that normal?

I received another email today regarding my case getting transferred again to the local USCIS office. Yesterday I got an email saying your case has been transferred. Wonder what's going on.

On March 5, 2014, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.
