suyene got a reaction from chrisher in i-130 for parents mailed in a separate envelope
I did the same thing. My Mom's was approved two weeks before my Dad's from the USCIS. NVC gave them separate case numbers as well. Just make sure though that you don't end up paying the AOS twice, because that was my mistake. You can just use 1 AOS for both of them.
