I'll add that I have filed taxes for 2 years now. Just been working part-time only, though, as I'm going to college!

I have some more silly questions..

My fiancee has not had an official job yet. She is currently 18, and will likely be 19/20 by the time we get intend to get married. She does volunteer at an animal facility, though. If she has no income from working, won't that be a huge red flag?

For what it's worth, my parents, who make fairly good money, will be able to sponsor her.

Also, I will be getting a full-time job, soon. How long do I have to be working for it to "count" as my official yearly income when filing? I hope that makes sense! haha

Hello all. New here... Please go easy on me, as I'm very new to all of this!

I just have a some general (perhaps vague) questions regarding the K-1 Visa process. I looked through the FAQ, but couldn't find the direct answers, but maybe I'm blind..

Anyways!

1. My fiancee is Lithuanian, and she moved to the UK in 2011. Does she have to return to Lithuania to do all the embassy stuff, or can that be done in London, where she lives? (Again, sorry for being so vague.)

2. Do I have to visit her home country (Lithuania) before we can start the K-1 process? She has come to the United States twice now to visit me.
