  1. We are still waiting as well, probably going to go ahead with N-400. We did request an ombudsman. Nothing about our case is unusual. We did not receive an RFE. We did however change our address at the same time we filed the 751. We send photos and a substantial amount of supporting evidence. I cannot imagine what is going on, it is possible they are vetting because my wife is from an Arab country. Who knows at this point. We are unable to get any sort of information at this point other than "the case is still processing" Hopefully we will hear something soon.

  2. Hello all, We filed in Feb 2016, Our receipt notice is dated Feb 17th 2016. We still have not received anything from USCIS. We have has 2 infopass appointments to stamp my wife's passport. My wife works at a government job, her access badge always expires on the expiration of her residency, however it takes 3 months to apply for a new badge. That is why we have gone for an infopass stamp twice. We received a letter after the last infopass appointment stating "Your case is stillipending background investigation. Once the background investigation is complete we can continue to process your case." We will continue to want and be patient. I read back in this thread, what is the negative to submitting the N-400 now versus waiting to receive the green card? Thanks!

  3. Hello everyone I have read the forums but I would appreciate the most updated information. I received our NOA2 for I-130 and called the NVC and they told me to wait 8 weeks for them to receive the file. My question is... what do I do now? Can I start preparing all of my papers like the guides section states? Generating my own barcodes and everything? My other question is does it matter if I have signed and dated documents sitting for 2-3 months while I wait to send them to the NVC. Finally is it the best way to go by having my wife sign the DS-3032 and file everything with the NVC or just to let her bring all of the papers to her interview?

  4. Im not going to say it again. My case has been expedited. I don't know why people find it necessary to say otherwise. I did not ask you guys to to tell me whether my case was expedited or not I asked how long do the approvals take after the expedite. Also you don't understand our situation that lead to the expedite so please stop replying to my post unless you are going to answer my question.

  5. Georgia State Senator Saxby Chambliss was able to get my petition to the expedite team, anyone have any idea how much time it will take for approval now, or how much time I probably have taken off of the process. The Senators office stated they will have the visa expedited all the way through to the embassy, so I'm guess an expedite at each stop.

    -Sorry for double post

  6. Hello everyone! I'm new to visa journey and I had a question to ask. Last year I spent a majority of the year in Tunisia with my wife. My tax return only states an income of $12,000. However on the previous 2 years I made over $32,000. And I am currently employed with a salary of $43,000. Will the NVC look at my previous years tax return or will a statement from my employer suffice. Also should I write a statement about being over seas last year? If all else fails I have family members willing to joint sponsor my wife. Thank you in advance.
