Everyone advises against booking your flight before you get your passport w/ visa. When are you leaving for the States? I am hoping things work out in your favor and congratulations!
Hi!
I am aware of it and was told to Fiance about not booking my flight without my visa yet. He insisted to book it earlier as per him, when the time that he'll going to book my flight (which is 2-3 weeks from now), air ticket is expensive already - cost of it will be twice as the price of my ticket now. We'll just take the risks of paying charges of re-booking rather than paying expensive one (Oh well, we don't know how much the charges will be). We want to celebrate our Christmas together
Booked flight is on 21st, I'll keeping my fingers crossed that this week or early next week I'll receive my visa.
Thanks!

My birth certificate is delayed registration too,and a fiancee visa.u dont need to worry bcoz its not a problem and i'm already approved last Nov.19th interview.

Guys if you have/had experiences about Birth Certificates with delayed registration issues with Consul before or currently, Kindly share as Am a bit worried. Am staying here in Manila and my province is in Samar so If I need supporting Documents it is difficult for me to get it right away. Checked the airlines flight schedule, all seats were taken already for this week.
Appreciated the above replies from Ms. apple21, Ms. greenbaun and Mr. Hank.

Okay. I was just worried because I read threads regarding Birth Certificates issues with Delayed Registration and some were on-hold because Consul asked for second evidences (Baptismal, school records, etc.) Am not confident that I could be able to get my elementary records. I have my Baptismal Certificate though it was only issued on 1998.
Thanks again

Yes, K1 Visa.
So am good with my both certificates, no need for my elementary records or any affidavit? I read about USCIS website that if somebody presents Baptismal Certificate as second evidence it should be registered after 2 months or one year from my birth date.
Thanks!

HI to all VJ Family!
Hope all is well!
My interview is on December 5, 2013 however I am bothered with my Birth and Baptismal Certificates as both are Delayed Registration and I am not sure If I can be able to get my elementary records, I think my Elementary School removed the old files already.
Affidavit from my Grade 1 class adviser stating that I am her pupil before and affidavit from our neighbors stating that they knew me since I was born will do? ( I have all my high school records though).
Your reply and suggestions are means a lot.
God bless,
M_C
