They might just not be in the system yet, they've been delayed with all the weather issues over there.
I sent my documents via email (per timeline details below) and they can only see one in the system. I'm assuming its the AOS package since I sent that first. It took 7 days to get the email confirmation that they received that. When I call about the IV package they say they only show one is received. I personally am just calling for updates each day - I haven't called today, and will probably just wait until Tuesday since they're probably short staffed due to weather and then Monday is a holiday. I asked pretty much the same question and Saylin said that they're probably just backed up, which makes sense. Lots of snow and closures. Good luck!
thanks ... there.....
but your's is e-filing, so m not sure how long it usually takes... but as per earlier messages, for non e-filing cases, the documents are scanned the very next day...
to give benefit of doubt due to weather, I can understand 2 - 3 days, but it's almost 2 weeks for me...

The worst thing has happened...
i have submitted my AOS and IV documents to NVC which was delivered on Jan 27th and Feb 3rd respectively...
According to NVC they have only received one package which they entered into their system on Feb 4th..
i asked them which package have you received and they mentioned that they can't tell until its reviewed (which usually takes 20 days according to previous VJers..)
I have already emailed them my tracking labels on Monday (02/09/2014).. but haven't received any reply yet...
so any suggestion guys.. what should I do.. or just wait n watch this dumb system...
I hope atleast my IV documents have reached safely, as it had all the originals... I was thinking about sending over the whole AOS package again, but thought will get some opinions from u guys.... It's such a terrible moment... can't explain... never felt this helpless since I moved to US...

Congrats!
Enroll email is for those eligible for EP opting into the program. India is not one of those eligible countries. Please read posts 1 and 2.
Do you mean the DS-260 form?
And yes, if you don't have vaccines and/or the documentation, then answer no and just give an explanation.
oh yeah... sorry i meant ds260...
thanks Saylin...
What about the list on post 2 in the FAQ I put together? Please read it. There's a list on what should be included in both packages.
Unless you filed taxes jointly, you don't need the W2s. And in junction with the employment, send some pay stubs.
Keep in mind, some people actually have the vaccines and documentation to prove it. I did. So I answered yes. NVC doesn't ask for the documentation. It doesn't matter if you answer yes or no for this question. Either answer is fine as long as you're honest.
In your case, it might be easier to do MFS (married filing separately). With that, the USC just needs to write 'NRA' (non-resident alien) on your SSN field. Nothing else is needed; you don't need to sign anything nor send anything in.
For MFJ (married filing jointly), documentation is needed from the foreign spouse which can be hard/expensive for some countries (in Canada it's easy peasy). Then there's the W7 form that needs to be filed and signed by the foreign spouse.
The ITIN is only created if you file for MFJ and include the W7 form. This takes extra processing time.
Your income doesn't matter. I had no income the first year my husband and I filed taxes together. It wasn't a problem.

I answered NO on mine and it was approved, because currently you don't have any documentation to establish vaccinations in accordance with US Law, if you answer yes, and they ask for documents, where are you going to provide them from? Just write an explanation explaining the situation.
Alright, sounds good...
will do the same thing...

Hey Guys,,,
I have a question regarding filling up DS-261 form...
In "Security & Background" --> "Medical and Health" section, the second question is "Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?"
Now for India, they don't do medical check-up until we have appointment letter, so shall we answer this "NO" with a small explanation or just say "Yes" and show it during interview....?
-
Ya! thats pretty darn cool. I looked at your timeline thinking "oh he must just mean close to the same dates" NOPE exactly the same dates, approved and arrived! Good luck for tomorrow!!
Thank you!
hey there....
did you receive any email/notification to fill out DS-261...
I got my case number on 8th of Jan... I called them today, but they asked me to wait for email...
-
Finally.... got my NVC case number today... provided my email address... waiting for my inbox to receive some emails from NVC...
Feeling a little happy... but have to remember, still a long way to go...
-
Ugh so annoying! You get a glimmer of hope, and then wait again. Its a roller coaster. I'm sorry yours isn't in yet, but I bet you'll get it before next week. Maybe mine was the last of the day and yours will be the first of tomorrow!
well.. hope so...
but the good part is I have someone with exact same dates to refer to....
i ll try tomorrow morning and see if the bell rings for me...
-
Cool! Ya try again, the lady literally went to tell me the same "it can take 10-20 business days" and they said "wait, oh its here, I wasn't expecting that" lol
well... I guess u're the lucky one.... they don't have mine generated yet...
They are saying it's going to take 20 business days, which is by the end of next week....
the most pathetic system I have worked with....
-
I JUST GOT MY CASE NUMBER!!!! AH! I'm just so excited! The lady was soooo nice, gave me all the numbers, IIN, BIN, the whole shabam!!! Off to OPTIN now!
Oh and to update incase anyone is around my time frame and calling... I got my NOA2 from CSC on Dec 4, arrived at NVC on Dec 16. Case number generated today (I've been calling every day)

Right, I saw a couple like that but I've also seen at least one case where they've been waiting for a couple of weeks. Keeping fingers crossed.
well.... finally.... sigh of relief.....
got approved today morning (or last night) and heading towards NVC....
-
My case status changed today. I got all excited when I saw the email but it was only an A-# change notification:
On December 4, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.
I was under the impression that this only happened when you've also filed I-129F but I guess this is not so (I haven't). BTW, my wife does not have an ARN and I suppose this means they've assigned her one.
same here... I got the same email an hour back...
According to few previous posts, you get approved soon after receiving this email (in next few hours)...
all the best...
