  1. Hi grayfer

We have exactly the same timeline. I paid the 8th May and am still waiting for the IV invoice. This is absolutely crazy. I don't know there is anything we can do except just sit tight and wait. It is on my mind all day from the moment I wake up.

I see you are in New York. We will also be living in New York but upstate. We lived there for seven years but left in 2007 to come to Australia. Where abouts are you guys?

    Misery loves company =(

We are both in Israel for the time being but will be moving to NYC as soon as this all gets sorted out. We made living/travel plans based on broad estimates of how long the NVC stage normally takes, but we didn't realize that it was an option for our IV fee to take this long to invoice, so I guess we'll just have to see how things play out.

  2. I just did that, and she said it was transferred to my local office. I asked her where my local office is, and she said Orlando. There is a USCIS office in Orlando, but I dont think they deal with stuff like this. I then asked for a tier 2 immigration officer and was abruptly disconnected.

My case number begins MSC which I think was the old Missouri service centre which then became the national benefits centre, so I really have no idea whats going on.

I think I will pour myself a glass of grape juice and forget about it. No matter how many phone calls I make, its not going to make any difference apart from me actually finding out where my case has been transferred to, and knowing isnt going to speed up the process.

We are in the same boat as you (automated message says transferred to Lee's Summit). I just spoke to a tier 1 who had no information, but I am now on hold for a tier 2 with approx 35 min. wait time -- hang tight!

  3. Morning all. I just received another email from USCIS to say my case has been transferred to my local office for processing, whatever that means...

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

    Your Case Status: Initial Review

On February 27, 2014, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

I got the same email today -- does it mean that it actually went to a "local" office or just a service center?

  4. Hi guys!

I have submitted my I-130 on behalf of my husband and we are currently waiting to receive our NOA2. Given that we filed in September, we're estimated that we'll finally get the NOA2 sometime around March/April at this rate.

I know that we will need to submit a copy of his military record (which can only be requested after he has left the army), but he is still in the military on a contract and won't be done until April. If we get our NOA2 sooner than that, it seems like we'll have to wait until April anyway to get the paperwork... right?

Has anyone else had a similar situation? Do you know what details exactly are required on this paperwork? Maybe there is some way to get around this requirement?

    Thank you for any help!

  5. Do any September filers are both out of country ?? or does anyone knows if the process changes when that is the case ?? as far as NOA 2's seems like we are pretty much in for a long long run for what I understand KS has not approved his first yet, right ?? Oh Boy !! sad.pngsad.png

We are both in Israel (seems like that is probably the case with you also) -- I hope there are no associated delays!
