Hey guys, I got an email from NVC to pay fees today but they are still not available.
My understanding is both fees will be invoiced together (since I have an attorney on file). Does that mean I get to pay both on the same day?
-
Kaylara, do you realize by just logging in or did you get any email? I received my case # when you did and still says my case is in the process of termination. My AOS fees are ready to pay now.
-
Saylin, will you please add me to the list?
NOA1: 03/04/13
Transferred to NSC: 11/06/13
NOA2: 01/06/14
Sent to NVC: 01/07/14
Received by NVC: 01/21/14
Case # & IIN issued: 02/24/14

I just addressed them properly and asked about updates on the case, since it was almost 60 days since my transfer.

Hey Marhaba,
The USCIS site says:
If you contacted the National Customer Service Center with a case-related inquiry and more than 30 days have passed and you have not received a response, you may email the appropriate USCIS Service Center with your inquiry:
- California Service Center: csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov
- Vermont Service Center: vsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov
- Nebraska Service Center: nscfollowup.nsc@uscis.dhs.gov
- Texas Service Center: tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov
If you do not receive a response within 21 days of contacting the Service Center, you may contact the USCIS Headquarters Office of Service Center Operations by email at SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov.

I sent it BEFORE the 60 days informing them that I'm about to hit 60 days. I hit 60 days TODAY, and approved today.
I didn't mention anything about service requests, even though I did have two of those.
The first that they did not respond to but only 20 days has passed, and the second one which a tier 2 put down as expedite and they responded to it saying I don't qualify for an expedite.... Which of course I knew, and I don't understand why that idiot Tier 2 filed it so (she only told me she would send a notice for them to reply to within ten days).. was so worried that would get me on their bad side.

Thank you guys. I will say that emailing NSC seems to have helped, as Kaylara said. I got the first "address update" within an hour after my email to them on Friday. I did what Kaylara said, asked for an update. I never got any type of response other than the update for approval!
-
Hey guys, you were all 100% correct... at 9:30AM exactly it seems like whoever had my case came straight to work and APPROVED IT!!!!
On January 6, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations

Asked to see if our cases are near each other mine ends in 054 so it's not right near yours dilmera
And fyi guys I never got a second update and it's Friday night
-
Oh, I was so excited to see an update. And then thinking omg REF or approval and it was none! My phone vibrates like crazy when I get emails and texts. I'll be waiting. Let's keep everything crossed for each other, guys! You're all in my prayers.
-
Kaylara, I like your thinking. You are absolutely correct..if other groups are voicing their concerns, we should all. Our immigration system is broken to say the least.
On that note, I'd like to say I just got a case update. Says "address changed".....what the...?
-
Congratulations Kaylara. I could cry for you! So happy for you, you deserve it.
-
I agree with you dilmera. Hopefully we all get approvals together. I think you and I got transferred together since I remember you said you received notifications at 7pm that day? What #s does your case end in? I'm so sorry you have to go through that and that allll of us do. I don't blame other petitioners, I blame uscis for not processing in time. Feels like every time my processing time is over, they tell me to wait another 6 months.
-
Hmm I think I saw a Philly approval on i2us but not sure. What if we're just in the same box? Sigh. Googled question and answer with NSC adjudicator and got some insight, you can say. Applications are filed based on the date...and idk most other cases near mine were approved. But mine is stuck
-
In two days it will be 10 months since NOA1. On Monday, 60 days since transfer. I can't believe it. So disappointed
-
I have a similar timeline. 3/4 PD and transferred 11/6. PLEASE NSC, get to workkkk
-
Ugh dear God, I called and spoke to a Tier 2 again today. Just told me to keep waiting
He was pretty nice and polite. At first I thought he'd be the same guy Kaylara got bc he had SUCH a strong accent, I honestly thought he was a clown.. In one week it will be 60 days since my transfer. I already made a service request a couple of weeks ago which should be responded to by Jan 3 due to conflicting info they kept giving me.
Sigh so tired of waiting
March 4 priority date, I never thought it'd take this long :'(
-
I can not believe it happen. I just got a early Christmas present. All three of my I-130s got approved today. March date 19 2013 transfer to NSC on November 5 Approval 12/23/13 for NOA2 TOTAL of 44 day from transfer notice. I am in Brazil with my family crazy tomorrow we celebrate with whole family. I am sorry for those that are still waiting. Thanks to everyone for letting me rant. Merry Christmas and I wish you a Approval New Year.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
-
I really really hope a bunch of us get approvals today. It would make an awesome Xmas present for sure. I don't want to end the year without an approval
-
PVP, what numbers does your case end in. I'm wondering if you're near me? My case has the same timeline
-
I had more than one tier 2 rep confirm that so i think it's true but I dont know if it means much I'm guessing the original person working on my case left to vacation
-
My case was transferred to NSC on 11/6 and I still have not heard from them.
Last Thursday I called and a Tier 2 told me that my case was reassigned to someone on 12/17

Hey guys, just checked and my fees are finally available to be paid!!!!
I have never wanted to badly to give the gov't my money HAHAHA! We all must be feeling this way.
Unfortunately my lawyer wants to be difficult and is not letting me pay the fees until we have other paperwork straightened out.
I don't see why I shouldn't just pay and wait for the receipts while we do that, but again.. whatever.
Let's see how long that takes... wish me luck guys
