May be too late, but I used Tokyo Medical Clinic, they got me an appointment the day after the scheduled, and I went back 3 days latter to collect the results. They sealed the results and I took them with me to the interview at Tokyo Embassy. They opened up, it had 'no issues' noted, and they essentially filed it away and gave me back the x rays without looking at anything other than the front page of the medical.
I believe the idea is not to schedule and undertake early so that the results don't expire. However I don't think this is really an issue with Tokyo, you'll have an interview date with enough time to get it done.
