fatima.Iran reacted to Elle&Kev in N400 - No Interview due to "Technical Difficulties" ?
Ours was slightly different. They conducted and approved our I751 but due to technical difficulties they couldn’t do the N400. Others on the same day and location got both interviews but they filed their N400 by mail (paper) and we filed online... hence maybe the reason they had digital/ technical difficulties. I know another couple scheduled for May 30th we’ll see what happens there. We are scheduled now again after 3 de schedules on June 28th.

Good luck to you and keep the forum updated.

fatima.Iran reacted to Dave&Roza in Spouse is out of the country while her new green card came. Will she have problems getting back in?
Her biggest issue will be if the airlines accepts the extension letter. I am assuming she took the original with her. If not, she may have more trouble getting on the airplane then she would like. The old card and new card have the same A# as that is hers for life. The only difference between the 2 year GC and a 10 year GC is that your LPR status expires with the 2 year GC and why you must file ROC 90 BEFORE it expires. The 10 year GC now has an expiration date, but your LPR status does not expire with the card. That is also why you file the I-90 to renew it.

fatima.Iran reacted to Aspen7 in ISSUED!
My fiance's interview was January 2. The consulate was Kelly Lang, who was very pleasant and attentive. At the end of the interview she gave him a 221(g) requesting more proof of contact between us, showing that we were in continual contact from the time we met until the time of the interview. Also she wanted a different sponsor who had a higher income and 2013 taxes and W2. We had to wait for my brother's W2, then he had his taxes done on the 28th. I sent the info and affidavit of support via email in PDF on the same date. Our case continued to be "Further Administrative Processing" until last night 12:30am (8:30am in Algeria) it changed to "Ready". Soon as I woke this morning, I checked it again and it had changed to "Issued". I'm so excited, I feel nauseous! My fiance' doesn't know yet because he's working away from his phone. I'm counting the minutes until I know he's off work! Pinch me, I think I must be dreaming.

fatima.Iran reacted to Tee Wlkr in K1 Approved!!!!! :)
Our K1 visa was approved today at the Jo'burg consulate! We are super excited we'll be together for Thanksgiving!!! And it's in no small way thanks to VJ and all VJ'ers who take the time to inform and support each other. Our application took just over 3 months from our NOA1 date to visa approval, and we know that we probably wouldn't have had such a smooth journey were it not for this treasure trove of information. So Thank You all, and all the best to those still waiting. May we all be with our loved ones soon.
