i am filling ds 260 form online....i have one confusion over one question....what did u guys write in that question...

Question : Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with us law,,,,

Should i write no.,( as i dont have any document to show )...and put the explanation that i will get my medical examination done before interview and bring it at time of interview,,,,

what did you guys write in that question.....

I have big confusion over sending the Original Indian Police clearance certi to NVC,,,,,,Please need some clarification based on experience at Mumbai consulate,,

As per Mumbai US consulate ,,applicant must have original PCC at time of interview....without that not allowed to enter,,check the link frm mumbai consulate ( http://photos.state.gov/libraries/mumbai/395145/pereirals/Packet4-Infosheet-IV.pdf )

Now i have only one original Indian PCC...which i have to send it to NVC with IV package documents,,,,i think we have to send the original one,,otherwise can get checklist query frm NVC....and case wont be completed without submiting original PCC..

So..i am the NVC stage ,,,ready to send IV civil documents....got big confusion over this,,becoz i read different info. some says we dont need to send original pcc to nvc frm india...some says u dont need original pcc at interview as nvc mailed all file at consulate..( but wht if they wont allow to interview without tht ) ...some says u get 2 originals....i have only one..do i have to apply another one....

Can People who passed from this stage...and had interview at mumbai consulate can provide true guidance over this ..

what did indian applicants did,,,,have you guys sent the original to nvc,,,,what happens at mumbai consulate,,,will they ask for original pcc ??

so after 44 days of being approved at USCIS the package finally arrived at NVC... ARRIVED! the guy said call at the end of next week to see if we got the number...

Hey,,,My noa 2 is 25 th of november.......and we are keep trying to call NVC.....they still hasnt received my case,,,the uscis shipped our case on 26 th december,,,,its been over month now,,,,,how long we have to wait to reach the NVC,,,

Need the help please....my i 130 application is approved. i m living in new zealand temporary ( i m indian citizen..moving back to india soon )

when i submit DS 260 form and all documents...the checklist says we have to submit original police clerance certificate to NVC,,,,,now when i will go to interview at embassy,,,they will also ask for original documents ....as i will get only one original copy of police certi ( NZ & indian )

if i send the original copy ( like police certi ) to NVC ....i dont have any copies left on my interview date..for embassy officer to show....

So if i send original copy to NVC...and when NVC send my whole case file to indian embassy...they will send all original documents too.( so embassy officer wont ask me for original documents...) how does this document submission work ??

becoz i think us govt. site says you have to submit original police clerance certi to NVC....and also at interview checklist it says original documents....so how can we submit original 2 times...unless the NVC will send it to overseas embassy at interview,,,

i m moving back to my home country in next 2 months...so how do i change my adress with NVC.....my case is just got approved but it is not reached to NVC...they havent received my approved case at NVC.

i m confused that,....should i change my adress now with NVC.....once the case number is assigned ...is it alright if i change my adress to india....they will change the consulate for interview.....i want to process the application from india..( much easier for me )

Thanks for your congrats message.

We were indeed transfered to Nebraska on 10/22/13 so it took a month to get approval from the transfer date.

We did get the "Alien Reg Number change" message last Friday.

You're approval will follow soon hopefully.

hello,,,,my noa 1 is 28/2/13 ...and on 23 october my status shows that ur case is transfered to another office for processing .

on 24 october status shows that ur case is transfered to local office for processing...which is New york local office,,,

anyone has gone for infopass apoinment....becoz i m not sure this msgs are true....dont have idea where is my file,,,,becoz some ppl are geting 3 different msgs about transfering....1) another offfice 2) to ur local field office 3) another uscis office.....

So in the last 3 days, here is what happened:

from Feb 25th-Oct 22nd - No status on USCIS website

Oct 22nd - Case showed up 'Initial Review' - Case is being transferred to another USCIS office

OCt 23rd - Case is being transferred to Local USCIS office

Oct 24th - Case is being trasnferred to a USCIS office

So where the heck is my case going to end up?? Has this happened to many people here?

Have you called them more than once to confirm whether its actually in NYC or not? We were told in June that our case transferred to NYC in March. Then we called against in August and were told our case transferred to NYC in June. So obviously we don't know if they sometimes just concoct a date to get you off their back or what. But what I can confirm is that the receipt number for the service request we filed did have "NYC" at the end of the numbers - That convinced us that it must be in NYC field office.

We received the hardcopy in mail today, but when I entered the MSC # on USCIS case status, it says we mailed it out on 27 Sept so I suppose that's the day it was approved. Also, we didn't receive any e-mail, and our case-status was not shown on the website until today (after it was approved). I think I checked last week and it said case not found.

But you are a APRIL filer we FEB filer have been waiting for so long going to be 8 months now!! and no i wouldnt trust VJ timeline but it is the first time it gave me a present timeline not a future one get it?

I think they calculate by what we post on our timeline ya know? but i wouldnt worry about it much i just said that it was nice that they gave me a present timeline not a future timeline like it used to say oct-nov now it says sep-oct which is what we are in get it? im not going to be too disappoited if the 11th comes and i dont get a approval i am just saying i am ready for the good and the bad

touched means someone picked up a box w at least 50 cases and your case is one of them and usually u have to ask if its touched usually they r not nice enough to come out and say... and i am happy they said touched but they could be lying just to give us a false hope cuz really what are we gunna do if they say touched and we only get approved next year?

some say it takes 2 weeks to get a approval after the case has been touched but its not a sure thing they can come out w a billion excuses why we havent been approved yet all we gotta do is wait and try not get too worked up on it

What did u mean your case doesnt show in a online record? u didnt file for it to be shown as a online record?

NBC said they are usually taking up to 10 months which is a big kick in the nuts since we just hit the 7 months mark.

I dont think my senator is helping... I sent his office an email with all the information then he replied a month later i had even forgot that i sent his office an email i was so confused at first... and i think that is just a false hope email like "hi i am a senator id like to have your vote so let me send you a bullshit email so you think im working on it" the other senator didnt even send a bullshit email so i guess he is better

I pray to God that october really is the month for us to get approved cuz if not we are only going to see our loved one after a year of being apart... and i had a deal that if this takes over a year id go to Brazil cuz Family is more important, we dont know how long we have left with our Family so i think we have to make every second count... I have a child she is suffering with my absence...

I want to think october is the month cuz less and less people are coming here to VJ complain their stuff is taking too long i want to think is cuz they have moved on to the next step and soon it will come to us... and VJ gave me an estimated timeline within the time frame I am in it gave me until october 11 and tier 2 said our case is touched so fingers crossed

I am also very worried about my wifes passport... it will expire in aug of 2014 and ive heard they dont like giving visas to an almost expiring passport and ive heard a new passport could take 5 months i am really worried i wasted all this time thinking it wouldnt be a problem and doing nothing about it and when the time comes i could get denied cuz of a passports expiration date...

NOA1 February 26, 2013 still waiting. I called last week and they told me 2 -4 weeks. I called again this morning and a totally different answer. They cannot give me a concrete answer. I spoke with supervisor and he told me the next time tier 2 promises me something get thier name. No telling when my petition will be approved. I just wish I could just move to the Philippine s and forget this nonsense this country is putting me thru. Good luck to everyone.

Just like I said to jane21. You called but spoke to who the CSR answering the phone. Or did you request ta tier 2 supervisor?

Did you submit a service request?

I repeat to you.

What have you done so far to invoke action? Have you involved your congressman or senator? If not why not?

Where is your petition at? NBC? Local office? If at Local office have you had an Infopass appointment? If not why not? There is much you can be doing.

They will tell you where your petition is if you ask. But you have to talk to a tier 2 supervisor. Open a service request. Get proactive here.

Is it common answer from USCIS for feb. i 130 filers........is this really true...in march we r seeing heaps of approvals ?? is it look real or just uscis making fool to everybody ?

Does anybody from here get the same answers.....or any new answers regarding processing for feb filers ? share ur answers frm usics plzz,,,
