My wife and daughter's interview was today in US Embassy in Kiev... Approved!!! yay!!! should have Visa by Friday latest... What a journey... Good luck to everyone!!!

Our I-130 and I-129F were approved at the same time as well and both got to the NVC. However, NVC didn't process our I-129F although we wanted to get that one and we made them known this, but they said we couldn't decide over that. We got a case number that never work on the ceac site.
I-129F petitions that are approved separately from the I-130 are usually forwarded to the embassy. That's not your case, so don't worry about it, you will have to continue with the I-130 process as most people here.

By the way- today I made my FIRST call to the NVC, and asked if they had my case number yet- and they told me 8 weeks from approval -- I commented to her that I follow this process very closely and I see a TREND in case numbers being issued earlier than 8 weeks and she replied- in some cases that is possible. ANd I left it at that and said THANK YOU. I plan on calling again next week- which made me think - if everyone is calling every day - aren't we pulling a qualified person OFF the work that we want to get accomplished or does a PHONE REP and a processor have nothing to do with one another--? SOmetimes I think me calling or THOUSANDS of calls kinda CREATING ANOTHER delay.. just a thought-- FD

Thank you again, Nastechka. I am hoping and praying that all of us August filers will have this part of our journey finish before February is done. Am I correct in thinking that we may leave the USCIS behind and deal with only the NVC and State Department from here on? Let's hope so. You will have your approval this week, I know it. I am a little partial to Belarus, but I pray for everyone in our group to advance to the NVC stage ASAP. I can tell you as a USC...that there is nothing sweeter than hearing your spouse's joy at such good news. Please, everyone, don't be discouraged. It is coming very soon.

They have already transferred people through mid-September, but some of the August filers still did not hear anything for more than three weeks now... So unjust...

Kurosakii, I think we have the same case. Both our petitions were transferred to CSC. This means that most likely our 129f will be ignored and "killed", and they will place us toward the IC/IR visa based on 130 form only. Let's wait and see.
