  1. I just spoke to the civil surgeon and he explained to me that if my wife would have gotten the vaccinations done at the overseas country, the doctor there would have given her a seperate copy of the supplament form.

I also told him that my wife was pregnant and he told me that she would be exempt from having those vaccination shoots. He would just need to fill out the supplement form for the I-693 and we are all set.

    Thank you for the help

  2. see, i am not really sure that when she was overseas she had the vaccinations done. she says they gave her only one shoot and took some blood. i know she had the medical done and the x-rays but i have no idea on the vaccs. they were all sealed in that brown package. i am thinking that she did not get the vaccs done because she only got one shoot and i guess vaccinations are like 3 or four shoots right.

    just a guess

  3. My wife came over on a K3 visa, we applied for AOS and now we have an interview date of Oct 31st.

The K3 required that she take a medical, blood test and X-ray but Im not sure about vaccinations.

When we had the interview overseas, they took the medical papers there. The only thing they left us with was the chest X-Ray.

so now my question does my wife need to do a new medical, and also do the vaccinations?

we have an AOS interview on oct 31st. They sent us papers along with the interview date and those papers say that we need to bring in the medical papers ( unless already submitted ). Are these the same papers that the office overseas took from us. Does anyone know please help.

    Thanks

  5. Salaam alay kum,

I am sorry to hear all these horror stories. I am affraid of even going to that embassy for my wife's interview for the k3 visa. our interview is on April 28th inshallah and i cant wait but i am scared.

Inshallah, as smush said, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and time will pass and everything will be okay for all of you and me as well.

Isnt there a complaint form that people can file. I think if enough people file these complaint forms against the islamabad embassy, they will do a little better. michigan you are right it seems these people have no hearts. are they american or pakistani people working there at the emabassy?

i have a question, When inshallah my wife passes the interview and get the visa on her passport, will we get the passport back the sameday? so then i can book her ticket and she can come home with me.

  6. Salaam alay kum,

    Hope everyone is doing good,

I think i have good news, but i dont know,

Any suggestions would be appriciated, I just received an I-130 approval in the mail, and our interview is on april 28th for the k-3 visa, inshallah, :D . what should we do?? go on with the k-3, or use the I-130.

I have already purchased my plane tickets and everything else also.

so i am thinking of just going ahead with the k-3 instead of waiting for the I-130 interview, what does everyone think?

    W/salaam,

  7. Salaam lay kum,

i dont know what to say,

i called the NVC and they told me that the I-130 needs to be approved. then i asked a lawyer and she said it doesnt have to be approved. now i am really going crazy. Mich. puts up that link and i read it and then shon says the opposite. I think what the best thing for me to do is email the embassy and ask if they require the I-130 to have an approval (NOA2) before they can hand over the k-3 visa at the embassy.

when i spoke to the lawyer, she said this is why they have this k-3 route, because sometimes it takes too long for the approval of the I-130 (NOA2) to come.

and when i spoke to the NVC the guy didnt really sound sure, on what he was saying.

shon if you dont mind, i tried looking for that guide but i could not find it, can you post that site where the guide is located.

    thanks

  8. :) i get happy and then :( i get sad and now im :) happy again,

aaaaaahhhhhh,, this is making me crazy.

i just called the NVC today and they said my case was complete on March 3rd and sent to the embassy march 3rd. is there a way, beside calling or emailing the embassy, to know if they have received it yet?

    psoft: you said

It is not true they will not issue K/3 visa until I130. At least I met personally three couples (my own relative) Male USC brought their wives from Pakistan in 2005.

so they are not going to issue or are they going to issue the visa????

from the rest of you post i think you ment, " it is not true they will issue k-3 visa before the I-130 is approved." does this sound right.

thanks for all the replys and help

  9. :( oh my good ness,

are you serious, they will not issue the k-3 visa until the I 1-30 is approved? then what the hell is the I -129 for?

this is not looking good, ummmmm, like i said, the Cali service center is processing I-130s mailed in at sep 2 and mine was sent in dec 8th(noa1).

    soo, my options?

call a congressmen and ask if they can speed up the I-130 process?

or have my wife go on AR?

I think i will get a hold of a congressmen today, can they speed up the process at the service centers?

What other options do i have?

thanks a lot for the info.

  10. the letter i got from the MSC stated that the k-3 approval notice will expire on 06/21/2006 with is 4 months from the approval date. i dont want the notice expiring and plus, i want to go there for my wife's interview date.

the I-130, i dont know?? it is at the CSC and have not heard from them yet. I am figuring that it will get approved sometime in july (inshallah) and i hope my wife will be with me here in the states by then.

should i send her the I-134 now or just wait till i m going to go there and take it with me?

    thanks for the help
