  1. Hi

when i was young about 2 years old, I was born in 1981, I hold green card without expiration date. my dad was permanent resident. but i went back to my country and never come back to US.

Then my father became US citizen and applied for I130 for me in 2010. In 2012, they denied my case.

my father asked attorney to follow up the case and determine what we should do?

At same time, in 2011, I got married. my father informed me about my new case number that he submitted new application I130 in 2012.

right now, it has been 2 years and nothing happen???

what i should do? or what ?

    just wait

    any information will help.

  2. Actually, my dad became US citizen. my mother was GC holder but she returned back her home country. So you consider her that she abandoned her case and she has her old GC with her.

My father filled twice I-130 file but in both cases they denied her case. right now my father is trying to add my mom to his work pension.

Any advice about what we should do ?

filling again or submitting her old card or what?

Also can you tell me difference between social security number and work pension? benefits of each one?

  3. my mother abandoned her residency and right now my father is trying to add her to his pension plan

at the embassy of my home country, they said that if you are not GC holder or citizen so you will not able to be part of pension plan. the government will take his money

he need to submit abandonment form for you then he will fill new petition for you it will take about 6 months

what do you think about what she do?

  4. thanks for your reply

actually friend told me that i need to give my card to embassy and submit form for abandonment of my residency. i have my card with me

also my father told me that i have social security number

so if he filed new petition for me so i will use same A number and social security number

also i want to add that i need to give them my card or just keep it with me

  5. when i was 2 years old child, my father issued resident card for me. then i stayed for few months in usa and returned back to my home country. i stayed there and never go back. i have this resident card with me. this card is not valid to use.

right now, i am living in other country and applied for non immigrant visa to visit my father and i submitted strong ties then they accepted to issue non immigrant visa for me.

i am asking about if there is any conflict between two cases

my previous card and my new non immigrant visa

    waiting for your urgent reply

  6. Dear all

i went to embassy and they said that i submitted strong ties. but they need more time to decide and said it is called administrative processing. he said that they will issue visa for me. but they need one more document which is my cv. they took all documents that i submitted to them. i asked about my passport and he said as you want you can take it or leave it. i already left my passport. also he said that this process will take about one month and half.

what do you think? does any one pass through this situtation before?
