My Naturalization ceremony was yesterday. 3,711 strong took oath in the morning session.

Thank you VJ and VJ members for all the support I received, info were helpful in accomplishing forms, etc.

No letter yet. I too called uscis, tier2 rep doesn't want to tell me which session I belong?

Mine is in the morning according to the tier2 officer.

Mine is 7/22 as well

My email says if I don't receive the notice by August 7th...., but my oath date is scheduled on 7/22 ( double checked with tier2 officer).

So, yours might be on 7/22.

During my interview last month, i asked my interviwer about the other cards i have recived if I need to surrender at my oath ceremony day. she said in years she has assisted, all she asked was the 10 yera GC. She could care less about the 'other cards'. So i told her i dont need those anymore can i surrender? She said up to you.

Received email/text notif that my Oath has been scheduled.

Awaiting for the mail but email says if I didn't receive by Aug 6 to call or make e-request for copy.

I'm in line for oath scheduling since two days after me interview, however, my status hasn't changed to oath is scheduled yet.

Next oath ceremonies in LA area are on 7/22 and 8/19.

I believe we'll be scheduled either one.

I'm not in a hurry since the most important part (interview) was done!

Hi there... Have you received your Oath schedule?

I had my interview today in Santa Ana, CA. Arrived about 10:20am had to fall in line just by the door as someone went ahead of me. Cleared security and was in waiting room 10:30. At exactly 10:50am a lady officer called my name. As we were walking to her office, she asked about my arm brace and told her due to carpal tunnel, she then showed me her left middle finger inflammed and told me due to arthritis.

Then she swore me in and let me take my seat. Immediately went on to english test (she said so my anxiety on the englist/civic test will be done and over)

Read: What state has the most people; Write: Washington is the Father of our country.

Civic test (not in order): What group of people sold as salves; Who makes Federal laws; How many amendments does the constitution have; Who is the Vice president; What is the highest court; why did colonists fight the British?

Pass the test and went on to review my application. She changed my citation answer since I have had traffic ticket (and cleared) I showed my driving record copy (made comment also on how organized I was with my documents - as I brought with my my 'just-in-case-they-ask docs). Added my new employer.

She said I passed the test but couldn't approve me on the spot since the other database she needed to look up something is down. She verbally said her congratulations but reiterated about the databse being down so technically I am not yet approved but she don't see any problem. May need to finish all her approvals in the afternoon when it is already up. Gave me also naturalization booklets, nformed my about next month's ceremony (that i can bring my family and friends when I do my swearing in ... we stepped out of her office and she went to copy my gc,dl and passport then gave my the notice sheet.

I had very pleasant experience, office LY is great! and I hope to get my oath letter soon! (googled next month's ceremony to be in LACC 7/22)

I finally received text & email notice on May 13 that my interview have been scheduled. How my days usually will notice be delivered via postal mail? Will the notice come from NBC or local office?

yesterday a family member also had ceremony in LA convention center in the afternoon. 4,072 new citizens.

I belong to one of the slow(est) field office. I am calling them on April 2 since that was mentioned in my inline notice. Whew! Hopefully I get the notice before I call.

Thanks huy_le! I really wasn't expecting the update for about 3-4 more weeks judging from where the other filers from LA in previous months currently are. But its definitely a welcome surprise. Hopefully this translates to good news for everyone in this December Filers group!

Witnessed this morning my best friend's naturalization ceremony at LACC.3,422 new citizens swore in @ afternoon schedule. I heard that the morning schedule they had 3,600++. Aside from stressful drive from OC to LA, it went smooth.

No issues on my end. website was fast, just checked it.

No interview notice yet, I am not expecting until 2 months or later. Oh and my yellow letter is not even with me yet. Hoping that will come this week.
