Ok, I got it. Congrats by the way!

I got permanent residence no condition so he said see you in 3 yrs for citizenship.
I did not know either. So you came on k1, got married, filed AOS and got a 10-year GC right away? Interesting! I thought everyone got the conditional one first unless you had been married for more than 2 years?!

If your husband came with a K1 and got the interview waiver letter then chances are very low that he will have an interview, at least from my experience. I personally would wait with the address change, it can be quite a pain in the butt. I just changed mine last week and I am just hoping it doesnt mess up anything. Hopefully your husband will have received his green card by the time you move.
@m&m1 congrats on your approval!

Because advanced parole card is used solely to re-enter the US(it's not a pass to enter any other countries, unless the country you are visiting is visa-free).
Exactly, that is what I meant. An AP does not serve as a travel document. Even if you are visiting another country visa-free, you would still need a passport, so I was wondering why AP would be important to Mexican Immigration.
I have been to Mexico before, so I know you do not need to apply for a visa beforehand, but you will get a tourist card as soon as you enter the country. So I think I should be fine.
Good luck to you as well with your GC. Let us know whenever it gets approved. Will (or did) you change address? What is your local office right now?

Do you by any chance know where I can find that post? I dont think I will have my GC anytime soon, lol. I got an Inteview waiver letter in Feb and my local office is packed! Now, my husband and I are moving to El Paso (he is military), as we wont have an adress for the first one or two weeks and bc I was afraid sth happened right now to my case and mail will be sent to my old address, I changed my address last night to my husbands Mom address in CA. I am kind of hoping that that doesnt affect the process and might even be helpfull, as the local office to the address in CA says adjusting takes 4 months... which I am over now.
Lets just wait and see what this process holds for all of us, hahaha.

Really? But why would they even care? I am travelling with my passport which is the only thing that is requirierend to entre, right? I was under the Impression that AP will only be on the table at POE back in States?!
-
@maireadtravins: Thanks for sharing your experience. I as well will be traveling with AP and passport with maiden name to Mexico in May. Hope everything will go as smoothly as your trip.

Congrats nongdawn19!

NOA 11/12/13, got my EAD two weeks ago. Online status still says Acceptance. Today I got the potential interview waiver case letter. Seems like I gotta wait a little more...
-
Yay, my EAD is in production. NOA 1 was Nov 12. Let's see what's next. We will probably be moving in April. I'm guessing our file will then be sent to the new local office, right? Hope everything goes well with that.

Anyone in Benning, GA right now? Moved here about a month ago and need to get out of the house

Hey everyone,
here goes my question: my bf (active army) is currently stationed in germany but will be moving to GA in october. I applied for K1, will follow in november and we are planning to get married in CA in december with his family. Any concerns about travelling domestic after entering on a K1 but before getting married and filing AOS?
