  1. You're welcome.

have you received packet 3? You will be able to know what to do when you have the packet 3. USEM will send it by email.

no, i havent receive packet 3 yet. i checked my status at ceac that our case is ready on november 25th.

but until now there is no email about packet 3. i did email jakiv@travel.gov asking if they received my approved petition or not.

the answer is they will email me if they receive it.

    Question:

    1. If the status READY its mean it received by embassy, isnt it?

    2. can i ignore the packet 3 and go ahead with scheduling an interview (like ceilla did)?

    please help everybody

  2. Once your petition is approved by USCIS, it's now on the way to NVC. You should received email from NVC with a Case Number beginning with JAK for Jakarta Embassy. From here, your case will be forwarded to Jakarta Embassy. You can email Jakarta Embassy for the status of your petition to JakIV@state.gov. After Jakarta Embassy received your files, they will send petitioner with Packet 3, which contains about 10 files attachments.

    1. Document Preparation for Fiance Visa Interview

    5. I-134

    6. I-134 instruction

    7. List of panel physicians

    8. Photographs requirements

    9. List of sworn translators for Surabaya

    10. List of sworn tranlators for Jakarta

The above steps were based from our K-1 experience last year.

    dear dandk

i have a question, what document we should send back regarding packet 3?

  3. In 2-3 weeks TSC will ship your file to NVC. The I-134 needs to be completed by the petitioner and the beneficiary needs to start getting the required documents in order. Congratulations!

I have been waiting 7 weeks and still no email notification that nvc received our approval. Look like CSC is slower than TSC in srmding file to NVC but CSC NOA2 approval is faster than TSC.

  4. Yeah, the clinic counts the next day after the check up as the first day. They said they have to send the sputum sample to another hospital lab in order to get the result and this takes time.

I'm wondering about dr. Narain Punjabi, some people said you can get the result a lot quicker than medikaloka.

i dont get any email yet from NVC but i called Department of State and they tell me my case number.

can i do medical examintation without hardcopy/ email from NVC but only mention my case number.

  5. I got a response back from NVC. they said they have not recieved my petition. and requested mr to scan, then e-mail them my I-797. And they would contact USCIS, to find it. Thought i was on the fast track at first.
