  1. We received our issued status on the 22nd, and still are waiting for our visa. I know they are still issuing visas, but it is very slow. It is so frustrating, but if you have the issued status, just try to be as patient as you can. It is hard, but take solace that you have been issued, and just waiting. Instead of receiving it in four days, it will take ten. Not too bad after all that you have been thru to be with the person you love for the rest of your life. I hate the situation, it sucks, but knowing why the delay is happening, is better than knowing nothing or getting the run around company line. You first think it is just you and there is a problem, but it is not. SO soon, it will be over, then all of this will be a very happy moment to think about, how hard you worked together to be together.

  2. I looked on the NVC status page, and we are in the ready stage and sitting at the consulate. Now we just have to wait till June 24th, for our interview. I hope with it sitting there so long, they will not pick every little thing apart and have a million questions. So I guess we will see. I hope that all of you will reach this stage asap. Good Luck to you all.

  3. Congrats to you man. That is great news. It just puzzles me how they ask for allot from some and hardly anything from others. That is just weird to me, I guess it depends on who you get. That is just great news for you, we have our interview in Manila on the 24th of June. I just hope we get the same result as you did. We have been married almost six years, so I am so hoping that will be taken into account.

  4. We got our Case number from NVC and they sent us an RFE, and we responded quickly to that. It was something very very small. So we are just waiting for our interview date to come thru. I am hoping it will come soon. I am not sure I understand all this paper shuffling. To me with all the technology that we have, there should be one central system where each section will have access to it, and you put your information there. When one section is done, they put in a code, and the next section is notified it's ready for them, then when they are done, they put in their code, and so on. This mailing of the original paperwork and copies is just stupid. There are people already in the USA that have fraud marriages and deceive the system and are broke when they marry, but yet that is allowed. It just seems like we are punished because we fell in love with someone that is not from this country. If they NBI says they are clean, then let it go. If you are worried about fraud, flag the visa for four years to receive no public assistance. That is not that hard. This being apart for a year or more while this process takes place is just stupid and just does not make sense to me. And have the automated system up and working, and give each stage a code. From one to ten for instance. Each section has a limited time to look at it, and it moves on. This whole process should not take more then 75 days and I am being generous. Really should be sixty. You call hear the stage you are in and you can have a great idea of when you are done. Once the USCIS approves you, then you should be home free. Some people just want to be together, that is the bottom line, nothing more, and they should make that happen. Sorry for the rant, but this waiting is just sad.

  5. I am just happy to say that we received an email last night that our I130 was approved and the notice is in the mail. I am hoping that I will get that today or tomorrow. It was transferred to the California Service Center. It got transferred there on November 25. I know that it will still a long way to go, but at least it is progress, that is really what I want to see. So I am hoping that all these transfers will make things go faster for everyone, and best of luck to you all.

  6. I also filed in August, and I know that I have a while before I receive the NOA2, but my thought is this, with all due respect to K1 Filers, why are the CR1s taking so much longer than the K1 Fiance visa. I mean we are I-130 filers are already married, and some longer than two years, but yet, the visa we apply for is taking allot longer to get approved and our WIVES or HUSBANDS here. That just makes no sense to me, that the process even takes as long as it does. I mean to me, this can be done over the phone, and completed within an hour. I just do not understand. I know there are allot of people filing and I get that, but this is just the worst process on the planet. You make a call to see if the person is a criminal, and to the other country to see if they are a criminal, check the docs to make sure it's legit and move to the next one. What, they only process just one per person a day?

  7. Your frustration is warranted, but I think one thing you do have going, is that you are working on it and it's moving. Altho it is slow, it is in the pipeline. The fiscal year is not the end of the year. Their fiscal year is at the end of September, not the end of December. It does puzzle me however as to why they would send a file to the NBC instead of the local office when supposedly they are not going to start the process till the end of the fiscal year. That makes no sense whatsoever. There are other offices that are working on these right now and processing them. Pray for patience, and know in the end it will be all worth it and you are looking forward to the happiest day in your life, as we all are.

    Good luck to you
