I don't think Adam was responsible. He knew the conscequence of eating the apple, and was told not too. He made a poor choice . He knew what he was doing and didnt' care. Why are women usually right because we think through our actions before doing them ,hopefully anyway....

just like a woman... isn't it, she'll blame him because he made "a poor choice" but if he made a good choice then it was because of her...right?

you ask the men for them to do the thinking, they make the decision, if it's good - you say nothing, if it's bad- you talk badly about him

Where are the guys at?

I've been married for almost two years now. Before the marriage, I used to listen to husbands talk and say things like "women will always be right in the end". I used to laugh.

It's funny when I witnessed it myself. It happens...but...I asked myself...WHY? Why are they always right? Well, after thinking hard about it, I found the reason is all based on responsibility.

Not to get too religious, but we all know the story about Adam and Eve. Was it literal, allegorical or both?

The Judaeo/Christian version says that Eve was tempted and ate from the fruit. She then gave to her husband Adam to try, and he also ate. "...Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake..."(Genesis 3:17 KJV)

The Islamic version is somewhat similar; Adam was advised not to approach the tree if he wanted to live in the blissfulness he was in, otherwise he would have to leave it and go into the world to face its hardship and its tests and trials. Adam decided to start the "test" and ate from the tree."And (We said): O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the garden; so eat from where you desire, but do not go near this tree..."(Al A'araaf 7:17 Shakir English translation)

As you can see, in both versions, God is addressing Adam because he is responsible. So, what is this story telling us about men and women?

Well, I believe, it's showing us that man is accountable for his and his family's actions. The family is innocent. Man is blamed.

Your wife cannot be wrong because she is not accountable.

Dont believe me??

pax, i haven't had my legs lasered, only bikini and underarms.. And u can get both done in like 20min...

So im assuming that laser on legs would take 1-1.5hrs... Which is not time consuming compared to how long it would take u to simply wax ur legs, not to mention that u would have to rewax every 1.5mth or so...

For those of you that don't know, laser hits an area the size of a quarter at a time.. So to do example underarms, u would probably need like 4-5 "elastic stings" for each underarm.. Not bad, eh!

Oh and for those of you that get brazilians, do u guys always ask the easthetician to start on a specific side? Like i always ask them to start on the right side, i guess bcz im right handed..

First of all you need a ss# and income to apply for a cc in the US. You can sometimes get a dept store cc w/o income. If you don't have that then you can get an additional card made from your husband/wife in your name, but it doesnt go towrds your credit.

My wife has an appointment for a second set of fingerprints on March 10, 2006.

How likely is an automatic acceptance w/o an interview?

Anybody with experience?

Yesterday, my wife received a Notice of Action saying that the fingerprint card on file has expired. The appointment date is 3/10/06. I would like to reschedule for an earlier date. I called USCIS and they said that the only way to change the date is to send the notice with a letter to the office. They said even if I do that, there's no guarantee that itll be any sooner.

Is there anything else I can do?...like go by the office(it's local) and ask for a change?
