Go to the My USCIS website and add your case. It should show up there.

If you applied online, you will see USCIS  notice the estimated processing time.

Thanks for your replies. If I did it right 8 to 14 months processing time. I'm hoping shorter. Good luck to us all. There is light at the end of this journey.

  2. Just a quick update. Today my wife has received her 10 year green card. On to the next step, Citizenship. I guess I have to read up on how to file the N400, but I'm thinking that can wait till after the holidays. I hope more January filers will get approved soon. Looks like VSC is working on that. Good luck everyone and I guess I will see you all in the N400 section once we start applying.

Well, turns out we have received notice that my wife has been approved.  The letter has been sitting here for probably a week already.  It was dated 11/27/17.  No interview or RFEs.  I'm gonna cancel our Infopass appointment for the I-551 stamp.

Congrats! Now the waiting for the green card. Are you going to apply for N-400 any time or soon or wait and relax abit?

My wife has just received a letter stating her removal of conditions has been approved with a date of decision date of 11-29-17. This is for the VSC. Keep a look out I am certain more approvals will be on there way. Also it says her new green card will arrive within 60 days. So it will be a good holiday season. Are we the first January filers to get approved?

    Congratesssss.

I have 1 question to u.Does your Status on USCIS website also changed?

    Hi SA_M,

I haven't checked the status yet on the USCIS website yet. I will let you know once I do though. But knowing USCIS it's probably not updated yet. I also have to find the original letter with my wife's receipt number.

Next question is when can we start applying for citizenship? That's N-400 am I correct?

    Hi, Phnrprman,

How long did it take them to cash your check? Mine hasbn't been cashed yet and it looks like we sent our packages on the same day.

    Hi AmeliePoulain,

My package was received on 01-12-17. My check was processed and cashed yesterday 01-17-17.

Also since Monday was a holiday they maybe a bit behind. I'm sure yours will process soon.

Good luck to all in this process.

Can someone also update the list with NOA date of 01-12-17 for me? I'm having a hard time doing it.

    Thanks

Sorry to hear. From similar experience before, USPS carriers often forget to scan the package and as a result, tracking updates do not appear. Hopefully it's just that. Did you send with signature on delivery option?

Unfortunately I didn't use signature confirmation. Package is stuck somewhere in the postal system. I used priority 2 day mail with tracking. That didn't do any good since it wasn't scanned on pick up or arrival to the post office. I'm going to wait a week or two and hope and pray somehow it gets to Vermont. I have already opened up a case with USPS. I'm starting a new package now just in case nothing happens with my original one.

  8. Green Card received this afternoon. This is the timeline from receipt of NPIW letter. Thank goodness we dont have to do biometrics appointment next Tuesday for renewal of EAD/AP. Now we have about 18 months of not having to deal with USCIS until we have to file for removal of conditions.

08-02-14 Received letter of possible interview waiver dated 07-29-14.
03-09-15 Mailed renewal of EAD/AP card.
03-12-15 Received text/email alert of received renewal app for EAD/AP.
    03-16-15 Received EAP/AP receipt letter.
03-19-15 Received text/email alert of "new card in production."
    03-24-15 Received "Welcome Letter."
03-27-15 Received text/email alert of "new card has been mailed."
03-28-15 Received "Biometrics Appt Letter" for EAD/AP."
    03-30-15 Received "Green Card."

I hope everyone in here receives their "green card" soon. Keep the faith it will come. I hope sooner rather than later for the wonderful people in this thread. Oh and the "green card" was shipped from Corbin, KY.

  9. I'm wondering if there'll be some approvals at 12:30CST like mine, mine was on the dot for a reason I think and I'm thinking they have set times when their system pumps them out

I received my wife's approval GC text msg/email yesterday at 1230pm est. I also received a text msg/email this morning stating "card was ordered to be produced."

  10. I hope everyone in here receives their GC soon. I hope ROC isn't going to be the same way. I also hope we all don't have to be in a ROC thread 2 years from now. This is the best site I've been on with great info and great people helping each other out. This site has definitely helped on my wife's visa journey and GC. Next step ROC in 2 years, but in the meantime it's time to celebrate and plan a trip for my 1 year wedding anniversary next month.
