I agree with you. I've had lots of bad experiences with NVC's customer agents. Most of them are rude. I think u just have to deal with them as u dont have any choice. Try calling DOS, they are wayyyy better and polite than NVC. HTH!

I believe you have to wait for their email before you can schedule an interview.

Manila IV can schedule once the casefile is opened there.

So, keep yer eyes peeled on ceac.state.gov - when it changes to 'ready'

then call Manila IV and ask to be scheduled.

Are they gonna send me an email re: interview date? Or should i schedule it myself?

I emailed them last thursday and they replied after 3 days that it was under review. The next day i got an email again that it was granted. I never thought they will approve. So give it a try. Who knows? Good luck!

Hi guys! Just to give you an update, i requested the NVC to expedite my case and it was granted. I checked the IV status online and it now says IN TRANSIT but i still dont have any scheduled interview for my kids. I'm just wondering how long will it take before i get a schedule. Thanks!

Hi, please update your timeline. We're on the same boat. Case Completed last Sept 4 as per NVC CSR but until now Im waiting for I/L. Hope we're scheduled for Oct interview. Please update us if you receive yours. Thanks.

Anyone else waiting for their interview sched?

Hi everyone! My kids (ages 11,14 & 19) are scheduled for interview on Sept. 12 for immigrant visa in Manila. I'm just wondering what possible questions will the inteviewing officer might ask them and what are the chances that they will be denied. I'm starting to get anxious and nervous that i can't sleep anymore. Somebody Help please! Thanks in advance! :-)
