Hi everyone, I am totally freaked out. I just got packet 4 today and my interview date is next Thursday Nov.14th. I called Dr Slattery, he is overbooked and can't set me an appointment until end of the month, I called Dr Jolly, she is on vacation and is coming back next Tuesday. I can get an appointment Tuesday at noon but before I must have completed the chest X-ray and the syphilis blood test. But Monday is a holiday and I Iive about 7 hours away from Paris by train and I am working tomorrow!!!!!! This is totally crazy!!!! What should I do? I can't complete de x-ray and blood test in my town, I can only do it at the hospital in Levallois Perret which wil be closed on Monday. Heeeeeeeelp ! Anyone ?

I just received packet 3 From US Embassy in Paris, and was surprised to find out that they asked me to complete online DS-260. What the heck is this DS-260 form ???????? I am really confused right now. First I completed DS-156 and found out it had been replaced by DS-160 which I took 2hours to complete, got my confirmation page printed and just found out yesterday that it has been replaced by DS-260?????????????????????????????? And what the heck is an INVOICE ID NUMBER? I never got that with their letter! So I am now stuck because I can't complete DS-260 online and confused with the change of all the forms.

Does anybody understand anything? And where can you get your invoice ID # ????

Now big question: when I got packet 3, they asked me to complete online DS-260 (I spent 2 hours completing DS-160!!!!!) which I simply coudln't because they never gave me my invoice ID number. So what the heck is this DS-260 form ???????? I am really confused right now. When should we fill in the DS-160 online? I am waiting for packet #3 (NVC sent my petition to Paris on October 7) and I don't know if I should fill in DS-160 now or wait until I get package #3. Any advice?

I called NVC today and spoke to a very nice man who told me NVC had received our petition on Oct.3 and forwarded it to Paris on Oct.7. He gave me our new case number and I checked it on the Department of State website : it says that it's ready!!! So I should hear pretty soon from the US Embassy. I'm now waiting for package 3 to arrive in my mailbox. There is hope!!! I might be reunited with my fiancé at Christmas!

Hi everyone.

We got NOA2 approval on August 22nd through California center, it's been almost 9 weeks and my American boyfriend hasn't heard anything from NVC yet. Do we need to start worrying? When should I get package 3 ? How many more weeks/months before the interview ?

I am hoping to get my visa before Christmas. Is it possible or pure utopia? I am getting really impatient as my boyfriend and I have a 6 month old baby who hasn't seen her Daddy for 3 months. I am praying to be reunited with the father of my child at Christmas. Is there still hope ?
