This is about a K-1 fiancee visa
I had a friend apply for a k1 visa for me. She was just very good friend. But now I find someone I wish to marry. Can they also apply for k1 visa? And if they do, will it cause any problems in getting visa?
so can we apply K-1 with diffrent diffrent persons?
pls help us
You are willfully commiting a visa fraud. How can a "friend" file for a K1 visa for you?
Because of people like you, consulates/embassys are suspecting everyone and rejecting genuine cases, hurting people who are really in love and who are planning to marry and live a happy married life. Process/scrutiny is also getting longer, in some caes years, because of people like you.
I hope there is better way to sniff out fraudsters.

Sad news for us my fiancé had interview 12/16/13 India Mumbai unfortunately he got letter that stated his document will be sent to back US consulate. A lawyer helped us the process now that we get denied she is not even willing to talk to us in regards of what do. We are lost and not know what to do. What a pain. The only thing that I can think of is I have kids and divorced. we have a good evidence phone, email and pics. We also met in person once. my Lawyer told us we have enough proof but not sure what get wrong.
Should we wait until we got the mail of why we were denied or consult with lawyer? should I call the embassy? Please advice

Is there any new development is your case? My fiancee also got denied at US Consulate, Mumbai, India. Her interview was on 11/27/2013. I have posted details of my case on another thread.

I mean I have been divorce for 10 years.

I had an attorney prepare our petition. We added travel document, air tickets, passport, boarding pass, etc, and engagement pics, rings receipts, hotel receipts, telephone, skype records, etc.
She is 3 years younger than me and we both are of same religion and cast. I have been divorced 10 years ago. I have two kids. The red flag on my side is that 11 years ago I have a misdemeanor, DV, which is expunged, on a minor charge. I fully disclosed it on my petition. I attached copies of court records. I told my fiancee about this before I we got engaged. The CO asked her about it and she did say that she is aware of it. I tought because my petition was approved by USCIS, it should not effect the interview because it is not new information at the time.
Only other red flag is that my fiancee attended a visitor visa but denied only few months before we met. Other than that I don't know what could be the reason. Would my DV conviction cause problem with I-130 also if infact it was an issue this time?

Basing on the 221g, you were denied because the CO was not convinced that you have a bonafide relationship. Your best option I think is to get married and file for spousal visa.
You can try for K1 visa again which is faster, but you have to know what went wrong during the interview so the error/mistake can be corrected first.
Actually, the consulate did not issue a form 221g. What she received at the time of interview and later in the mail is latter saying that our petition will be returned to USCIS for review and possible revocation. If they doubted we have bonafied relationship they should have asked us for additional proof.
-
We did not get a 221(g) asking us to show more proof of our relationship. The consular gave her a plain letter saying that our petition will be returned to USCIS for review and possible revocation. Our case was in Administrative Processing after the interview for about two weeks and sent back to NVC.
I have contacted a senator's office and they said they got a reply from consulate/embassy saying that the consulate can't specify the reason why they refused visa to my fiancee. They probably have no valid reason to specify. I read the consulate should specify a reason, documenting information they found that was not available when the petition was approved, when denying a visa returning the petition to USCIS. In this case how can they send it back to USCIS without any reason?
From what I read online I think our petition will take 6 months to a year to get to USCIS and they will send me a letter suggesting that my petition has expired and I am free to apply again, at best.
It is very depressing to see all our efforts for that past 8 months killed within a few minute interview. I find this very hard to accept especially thinking about going through all over again or relocate to get married.
I don't even know how it is going to effect my future efforts.
Any suggestions ?

We were not asked to provide additional proof of relationship, form 221g, or any reason why they denied visa. I wish the consulate gave us an opportunity to prove that we are genuinely interested in getting married and not trying defraud the system instead of simply rejecting based on few minutes interview. I feel that the consulate did not give due consideration.

. We both are of same religion and cast. She is 3 years younger. Were there any "red flags" in your case? Red flags in India can include significant age differences (especially if the female petitioner is older), vast educational differences, multiple previous visa attempts, and religious differences.
How did you meet? Online? In person?
Was your engagement an arranged one by your families or based on love?
As others have said, the likelihood of your I-129F petition being reaffirmed is slim. USCIS will more than likely allow the petition to expire and send a letter that you are free to file again without prejudice. It is your choice whether you wish to file for the K-1 again or get married and try for a CR-1. Study the guides above to familiarize yourself with the CR-1 process.
Remember that all evidence is not looked at equally by the consulates in India. Phone records and chat logs are ok but should not be assumed to equate to time spent together in person.
There are no red flags except that she tried for visitor visa once before and she was denied. I don't know that is sufficient to deny.

The are no red-flags.

i am sorry to hear you got denied
what was the reason of denial? what did the consular officer say? why did they deny it?
did you send enough evidences of your relationship to USCIS?
No reason given except the letter which is generic.i am sorry to hear you got denied

Mumbai consulate denied visa for my fiancee last month. She was given a letter saying that our petition with be returned to NVC for review and possible revocation. We are just recovering for the shock. Ten days after the interview the status is changed from Administartive Processing to Returned to NVC. We still have few weeks before our petition approval expires.
Is there any hope that our case gets re-afirmed and sent back to the consulate in time?
Thank you for reading my post.

Our K1 visa application is also In Transit to consulate after 19 days at NVC.
-
My application is stuck at NVC now.
Email reply from NVC says "This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. You will be notified with further instructions when the processing is complete."
The rep. told me "Unfortunately your case is going through administrative processing. You will be informed when it is complete."
She could not give me any estimate when it will be done.
I am hoping/praying ...

Our k1 visa is at NVC today and I have the case#.
1. Should my fiancee schedule an appointment by sending DS-203 , DS-156k and Applicant Statement downloaded from Mumbai Consulate website? Or should we wait to receive the Packet 3 and then only respond?
2. If Mumbai Consulate is not sending Packet-3 or Packet-4, should we wait until we hear from NVC to send Packet-3 to the consulate? Or can we send the Packet-3 right away?
3. Does NVC schedule the appointment for the interview?

I think a minor 11 years-old expunged misdemeanor is a wrong reason to deny visa because I disclosed it in my petition , it was reviewed by USCIS and NVC, and my fiancee is aware of it. Unfortunately no reason was specified and there no appeal.
