The CEAC site now reads:
IssuedImmigrant Visa Case Number: TNSxxxxxxxxx xx TNS Case Creation Date: 12-Nov-2013 Status Updated Date: 21-Aug-2014Your visa has been printed. We will call you to come and pick up your packet and visa.
My question is this: The embassy said they would call Khaled to pick up his visa and packet. So when he does, can he get on a plane then or is there a waiting period? This is the Tunis Embassy we are talking about. I hope someone knows this answer and Thank you

So HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH!

Its been 579 days since i have seen my husband in person.
It has been 41 WORKING Days since the American Embassy in Tunis, Tunisia has had THEIR request for a "joint sponsorship" papers signed by our joint sponsor in THEIR HANDS FOR REVIEW.
I made $2093.00 US dollars less then the "poverty level" to sponsor my husband myself, so they asked for a joint sponsor. Why do they ask for assets then to make up the difference. What a joke. They work for US!!! We pay their wages. They did not even look at the equity that we have in our home, yet alone our vehicle. I MADE ENOUGH WITH OUR ASSETS TO SPONSOR MY OWN HUSBAND...they did not even give it one thought, since its "up to them" whether or not we are worthy. Are you kidding me? Pffff on you all...YOU SHOULD BE sued for "LOSS OF CONSORTIUM"...YOU ARE KEEPING MY HUSBAND FROM ME...we did ALL THAT THEY WANTED. Now it just seems like they are LOOKING for a reason to deny us, but THERE ISN'T ANY!!! ..... We are good people who have no police records. When you call for answers or email them they do not even have the common curtsey to reply....everyone just passes the buck.
No more patience from me. So i will do what you suggest in your post as i feel they are stealing MY time now.
You are just plain wrong for what you do to us. How dare you. -
we wish this very much for you both too!!!

I am so praying that we are on the interview schedule for April @ the Tunis Embassy.
My birthday is on the 15th (((((hugs to all the Aries!))))) and it sure would be the SWEETEST gift EVER!!! -
sniffles
i haven't seen my husband in person for 443 days and its so hard to live the life without him.
-
So very nice! CONGRATS to you both
-
Awwwww bless you both Hedi and Colleen, i know you will do great on your interview and it will even be more sweeter because of the trials it took to get it.
Best wishes to you ~ And Dailroya the waiting is got to be the most crucial part of the whole process by far! I got a bottle cap today and the little inscriptionon the inside said, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." Grannyism #13 !!! khaled was born on the 13th ~
And the answer to the bottle cap, YES it sure does
Peace be upon you all (((((((hugs))))))) -
Thank you so so much for the encouragement. Truly it means a lot to me.
Khaled and I are the most positive loving couple and we already know what
is expected in our relationship as we lived as a married couple in Sfax. Even tho some of the USCIS and or the State Department personnel can be rude
and blunt, we are still respectful and leave them with only good things to say about us. We have dealt with the embassy in Tunis when we got married and
found them to be nothing less then helpful and very nice to us. In a separate situation, they helped me return to the states to care for our home. We ran
into problems with the renters (not paying and trashing the place) They were so helpful and genuinely cared about our situation and helped me return
home in a flash. الحمد لله
I came back, removed the renters (sheesh---what a process that was!) and removed all their trash. I stopped the foreclosure on our home and gotour affairs back in order. We both are self employed and are very self sufficient people. We Skype on a daily and he is fluent, not only in English, but French
Italian and of course Arabic. Honestly, we would wait until the end of time for each other. He is much more patient then i am, for sure---Patience is certainly
not one of Aries better qualities. With God's teachings, I am much better than i used to be, darned Americana in me! hhhhhhh just jokin'.... I just see this as one of my
lessons in this life.....to be more patient. It just gets to me sometimes... as the days go by....i see its one less that i have spent by my husbands right hand.Nchallh

Thankx for your response and yes i will keep checking the website.
Yes, we have had our TNS number for months
Do you know how long is the wait for an appointment from the timethey say they done and you qualified for an interview?
-
I want my packet 3 and 4 and the interview because i'm sick of waiting
we too feel your pain
-
Good, i hope things move faster for you now
-
I just don't understand. We are already married!
i thought we came before non-married people? <i mean no disrespect to those couples who are not married yet.
I have been to the American Embassy in Tunis before....there were like 3 people there, i know they are not busy.
So frustrating!
When i ask (NVC) for a statue update on our case OR for a time frame on WHEN an interview date
will be scheduled they keep sending me this, copied and pasted garbage. On the phone, they are so nonchalant
and even condescending about it...and they wonder why folks get so upset, its our lives your messing with people!
2/21/2014 From the NVC:"We have finished reviewing your case. We will tell you when we set an interview date for your case.
Please do not contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in TUNIS, TUNISIA about your interview until we give you the date."
Can anyone help with a time frame, please? -
sadly i can relate to everyone's pain and suffering....
-
Just an idea: I contacted our embassy directly and they are helping us.
-
1 million mabrouk!!!! So HAPPY for you both

Believe me, people will be making comments that will be misleading or semi-negative...
When my husband was out of the AP, there were people making comments that would scare me again...
I agree, i found this forum very helpful, but some of the members are downright RUDE!
Please don't let the negativity rule. Keep moving forward and don't let ANYONE down your spirits!

so beautiful ~ Congrats to you and your families

You must call and make the 129f (k3) expeditious if you fit any of the criteria.
-
it took us 5 months to get our 130 approved with the help of the 129f (k3). So it does work and make it faster for married persons to be together! CALL YOUR SENATOR/CONGRESSMAN that helped us too!
they "terminated" the 129 and approved the 130 at the National Benefits Center at Lee's Summit. -
YAY congrats!
Thank you so much!
-
THE BIGGEST DREAMS STILL CAN COME TRUE
Congrats to you both!!!
....and yes dreams do come true, we were approved for the i-130 in 5 months from the NBC October 16, 2013~

Dreamers - once you have that privacy release form in place,
I got a lot of 'action' with my ILS about my expedite. I think she got tired of me, taking up her phone time, emailing in to her, and faxing her for status updates. But - I do remember - I talked with her a LOT about that expedite- and she worked hard on it, a month's span for the duration. Ya, i know, in the end, it didn't matter, but she was talking to them (the local USCIS office congressional liason human )
So, if you just started convo with your ILS human, KEEP AT IT ! (IMO).
FWIW, I chronicled all the stuff I did during the I-130 stage over at
