Well, after posting on August 2nd, finally got my email notification of receipt/application acceptance, case number and checks cashed on September 9th!
Frustrating wait, but finally in the system.

Emailed them with all that info on Friday. Also called, but they said had to call back on Tuesday (as it would be over 30 days then), so hopefully will get some more info then.
Indeed very frustrating!

Posted the package on 8/2/2013 (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-864 and G-1145).

My USC wife and I posted the full AOS package on August 2nd (I-130, I-485, I765, I-864 and G-1145) to the Chicago Lockbox. Stupidly used regular USPS, so no package tracking.
Still haven't received an email notification, a receipt notice (or denial notice) and checks haven't been cashed.
When should I start being concerned, and how do I even go about checking up with USCIS when I haven't had a case number assigned yet?
Filed AOS package, no receipt notice, email, checks not cashed - when do I worry?

Yeah, that was driving me crazy! Still, most important thing is that it's confirmed as in the system now.
