My wife and I recently filed forms I 485, I 30 and I 765 to the Chicago lockbox. We got a notification via email that our applications were received and were routed to the National Benefits Center (MSC in Missouri). Is this normal? Wasn't this application supposed to be routed to our local office in Iowa instead? Anyone dealt with such a scenario before, would you kindly share any info and perhaps the processing dates for this NBC. Kindest regards.

so I filed 2 weeks ago (Form i485, I 30 and I and I received an email and texts messages saying my application was received and that it was routed to the NBC, NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER FOR PROCESSING. Is this normal, I thought it was supposed to be send to my local iowa office for processing? anyone dealt with this before and what are the processing times there like? any help is much appreciated.

Hello All, we filed concurrently our Forms i 485, Form I 130 and Form I 765 Last week. We forgot the petitioner's (My wife is a US citizen and I am a student) passport photo. The rest seems to be in order. I am very worried about it anyone dealt with such a situation before? Should we wait till we hear from them? any thought and experiences will be greatly appreciated.
