  1. Hello,

My fiancé had her interview at the New Delhi Embassy in India on Aug 16 2013. She arrived on time and was allowed to enter. they took her to get here fingerprints done and was told that they could not find her in the system at the time and they could not do her fingerprints. She then submitted all her documents but she had a police certificate from the local police station and not the passport office. They then interviewed her. Which she said went very good and that there were no problems. After the interview she paid the courier fees for the return of the passport. They told her to submit the PCC from the passport office at the embassy drop station along with her passport. They also told her to come back to the embassy at 8:30 am a few days after submitting the documents in order to have her fingerprints taken. They did not say anything about being approved or about it being in administrative processing.

We are worried about why they couldn't take her fingerprints during her interview. Has this happened to anyone else?

Also after submitting the PCC how long should the whole process take. Does this automatically put us in administrative processing?

She talked to another girl at the embassy when she was waiting for her interview, that told her that she was in the same position and that the embassy kept giving her the run around. This has us really worried. We have not seen each other in a year and were planning to get married before the year was over. We just want to be together but this entire process is so long and confusing.

Any help with our situation would be appreciated.
