Your filing center California or Vermont ?

California  processing time around 15 months.. If you filed with Vermont you should put a service request for case out of normal processing time.

Thanks so much for reply! I really appreciate knowing whats going on....yes we filled with California service center ... so it takes more than 1 year for California service center....did not know that as extension letter gave extension for 1 year so i thought during 1 year timeframe a new one should arrive...

  2. Hi everyone!

So last year , late August 2016 we send i-751 along with all needed documentation....few weeks after we received extenstion letter saying we got 1 year extension of Green Card....thats usual...in October 2016 had biometrics done . However, the old 2 year Green Card expires in a couple of DAYS and we still did not receive any notification , or new renewed green card....so we are now with no new green card and expired older green card.

Whats going on - did anyone from late August 2016 received new 10 years Green Card? We sent all needed and no any notification ...

  3. Hi Everyone! I have one more question : So after sending form I 751 with all the supporting documents we received extension letter and after that recently biometrics/ fingerprint appointment at local uscic.

I wonder what they will be asking at that appointment for taking biometrics? how long does it take approximately? For those who already passed this...

    Thanks

  5. What did you read when you went to the website above and clicked on the I-751 form and went to the instructions? The instruction page is very clear about this. EXCEEDINGLY clear.

Yes i know. I wanted to confirm because i already mentioned that we got the letter from vermont service center and we live in state of washington - uscis page say if you live in state of washington then need to send to california service center. I wanted to make sure that vermont sc has nothing to do in this case when mailing. Thats all . No need for negative tone . THANKS

  6. Please check out the instructions for the I-751 form at usics.gov/forms. It tells you exactly where you should mail your application and how to address the envelope. Good luck! :)

Yes it says the forms are sent to either Vermont service center or California service center. I was a bit confused where to send so i wanted to confirm we send to the service centers not to some other address. Thanks

  7. Hello all!

I have a few questions about I-751 Form. We are preparing documents for it and filling out the form.

I would appreciate the answers of those who know more about it.

    So my questions are :

    1. We are in Washington State - according to USCIS website if live in Washington state need to sent all to California Service Center. Thats correct, right? I ask because we got a letter ( reminding it is time to fill out I-751 form , like everyone gets it) but it was sent from Vermont service center. I do not understand why it would be sent from Vermont service center to us in Washington state when California center is in charge for Washington state? This is a bit confusing to me. I would like we send all to the right service center.

    2. The form has several fields that does not apply to us - should we put N/A or None or just leave it blank. I assume we put N/A but Adobe PDF wont let put / sign so i hope it is not an issue to write it with a pen there.

    3. How do you name a letter from other people who write it to attesting about marriage? Is it named Affidavit? i would like it we name it like USCIS wants.

    4. I would like to confirm , just to be sure : in I 751 - petitioner is conditional resident and spouse is US citizen, right?

    Thanks

    Hvala :-)

  9. Hi just sent our package on the second, we did leave some areas blank if they were not applicable...now that you are steps ahead what is the answer is it a worry? we haven't received any notification back makes us wonder what we did wrong, we also used personal checks, and did not have all the bona fide labeled...how long did it take before you heard from them?:unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure::help:

Well we did not have issue with it. I think we left fields like " middle name" ( i dont have middle name ) or such , blank. And if answer was "no" to some questions where they asked for questions in it and it was not applicable. so a few obvious not applicable fields we left blank.

We heard back from Uscis after 5 months since we sent our 1-130 form to inform that our case was transferred to TSC and from there it was approved in next 1 month and few days.....so our 1-130 form was approved in 6 months.
