We had our oath ceremony Today , finally US Citizen !!! Feels great..
It was nice ceremony, about 450 people , the USCIS director mentioned that there were 1200 people scheduled for oath today in three sessions here in Campbell Heritage Theater for San Jose Field Office. Passport officers were also present to take applications so we submitted our applications and also voter registration cards.Thank you all fellow forum members who regularly contribute to this forum, its helps a lot for everyone through this journey..

Just passed my Interview Got Form n-652 with 2 marks on it

Hello everyone! I had my naturalization interview yesterday(new york). The interview results said - You passed the test of English and U. S history and goverment and USCIS will send you a written decision about your application. I'm worried because the IO's checked box B - that say's A decision cannot yet be made about your application; Is this something that I need to worry about? Please help me guys.......
I had the same situation, got scheduled for oath exactly 7 days later.. My IO said they need to complete my file review but everything looks fine... You will be fine don't worry...

You are on the right track, the latest from the website is what you need.

walshy, looks like your DO schedules interview roughly 3 months after bio, see other cases at
http://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/n400
To see your DO cases set the filter USCIS District Office to "Portland, OR".

One thing to note on case status notifications, while my wife received email and sms when her case status changed to Oath ceremony, infact two emails/sms one for inline for oath in the morning and another in the evening that oath scheduled, I didnot receive any email or sms when my status changed.

both me and my wife had interview on 10/21. both approved and oath scheduled for next month (11/21). Pretty straight forward. My IO was a nice chinese lady. She went through all questions on the application, since i had quite a number of overseas travel she checked all the stamps in my passport.... My wife got the approved letter, but I got "decision cannot be made" . My IO said everything is fine just that my case review was not complete. Yesterday my status changed to oath ceremony.

KP, sanjose does not do same day oath, Oath ceremony is held in campbell heritage theater once or twice a month. For October it is scheduled on 23rd. I guess depends on how many people are inline for interview/oath. I think the best option is to complete your interview (yours should be around December 6 -10)and then request the I/O to schedule your oath in Jan/Feb. You could even request to postpone the interview, my preference would be oath...

So as of today I'm in line for interview scheduling. I didn't actually receive the interview letter with an appt date yet. So I probably shouldn't have entered 09/09/13 for Int Letter should I have?
walshy, we don't have the column for In-Line for Interview Step. The "Int. Ltr." Column is the date when you receive interview letter. I think pretty much everyone who completed their Bio are in-line for Interview scheduling.
russer is exception, he is the only one who received interview letter., interview in 40days is very rare.

I got Biometrics date to be 09/10 , so one can just walk in there before actual date and have Fprints taken? I am working on 09/10 so I was thinking of getting these done next week and not take a day off just for this.
No harm in trying. Today when I went to the office in the afternoon, it was empty, they didnot even ask me why I came early. BTW my original appointment is in Oakland, CA office, but my home is closer to San Jose Field Office, so I went there.

I got charged with careless driving 3years after getting a speeding ticket. I didn't know that I can get a lawyer to lessen the charges at that time. I paid less then $200. Could that charge affect my N400 application?

At the botton of the page the field offices for california are listed. Select your field office and check under " Naturalization Cermonies".

Weird payment agreement situation

IcyStar, Generally with payment agreement as long as you have been regularly making payments you are fine. You have enough documents to show that you have maintained good standing in the prior years and IRS has accepted you reasons for the delay in Filing for 2010 and have waived off the penalties, Thats is more than enough for the interviewing officer to ascertain your good intentions. Just take the last correspondence you have from the IRS mentioning the waiving off the penalties . Also take along copies of your husbands hospitalization summary, I don't think the IO would ask for them, just to be on the safe side if the IO wants to see for any reason.... Good luck on your interview.
