Excited ... it took them like 8-9 days from the transfer day sweeeeeeeeeeeet!!

I saw that. Welcome to hell, the VSC only did about 800 petitions in December and had over 18,000 in their backlog at that time. Unlike the other centers they never went to 0, at their lowest their backlog was 11,918.
what=!=!=?? are you kidding me!?? so this is bad news?!
where can i see the stats for vermont?
can u please give me a link ?

according to her, the lady of USCIS told her there was no malfucntion, and our case was one of the few that was ttransferred to local offices, while others have been trasferred randomly.
in case this is true, that my case is at philadelphia local office, what can i expect?
are they fast? from the website of trends it seems thhey have lots of workload as well ...
well i guess it wasnt' a tier 2 afterall... she«s waiting for the call back, but the first lady she talked to, i assume a tier 1, said it was in philly and that she went further into the system to get more details.
how credible does this sound? i don't trust it...

i told my wife to call USCIS as a few of you have done.
She said, they told her that our petition is not in CSC nor Nebraska etc... it's in Philadelphia Local office...
how can this be? arent all pettions going to servce centers?
someone can explain pls? thanks

My transfer date was the 24th. I'm assuming the transfers from Monday went to CSC and the transfers from yesterday went to NSC. I believe that goes along with VNBCI130's prediction! I'm interested to know what other people got in order to see trends.
i so hope you're right because that would put me in CSC too !!

just got transferred!!
received e-mail saying last action of transfering on 24/02/2014... it didn't say where to though !! hope we get some approvals in the next 2-3 weeks then

Hello guys,
Could maybe those of you who wrote to the senators post their letters here so it could be used as templates for some?
I would like have my wife (she's the american one) have it sent to the senator as well and with Cc to NYT ... I believe if we make NYT aware there are so many of us, then maybe some projection of our cases may happen.
Thanksk

I called USCIS today the answer was that they were checking october 2012 applications now :'(
That's depressing... knowing that we just filled in end of August 2013 =(

There is no such special information about I-130 application except
Then NBC ships the I-130s to the appropriate USCIS Field Office bi-weekly based on jurisdiction (petitioner ZIP code).
Hello,
My file is still at NBC ... is it possible to know beforehand to which local office will it be forward to?
How can I find, with my ZIP Code, which office will the documents be sent?
Thanks

Hello everyone,
New guy here.
I'm currently gathering all information and documentation so my wife and I can initiate the process of IR-1/CR-1
I have everything in my posession already, including documents, certified copies and their respective translations.
Now my question is regarding the following:
I remember in the DS-230 instructions PDF, it was stated something along that the translation needed the following sentence:
Certification by Translator
I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.
Signature_________________________________
Date Typed Name
Address"I attached what I have so you can give me an opinion. (I blacked out personal information).
Do you think this is okay or does it have to be in the exact same wording as it comes in the instruction file?
Thank you

yeah indeed...
i always put my expectations way low and tell my wife to do just that... in this case i didnt even expected they were super fast like 6 days since they got them!!!
now comes the harder part ...
i already have all documents... now what«s the first step? Start calling NVC in about 2 weeks to get my case number?
