My sons have been interviewed last Aug 22 however have been placed to administrative processing because they only brought a copy of their birth certificates and not the NSO copy. The NSO copy was submitted last Sept 09 but visa status is still administrative processing. Anybody has experienced the same situation? How long will administrative processing for this case take?
* Both sons have been included in my approved 129F Petition.

Exemptions from PDOS and Peer Counseling Seminar
For children 12 years old and below are exempted from attending the PDOS. They must, however, be registered, even if by proxy. The following additional documents are required if the proxy is not the legal/natural/adoptive parent of the registrant.
- Original and photocopy of one(1) of valid identification card with photograph of the proxy
- Special Power of Attorney authenticated by Diplomatic Post if parent/s/ or guardian/s are based overseas; or a duly notarized authorization letter executed by parent/s or guardian/s while in the Philippines.
- Other documents that may be required by the registration officers.

I was originally scheduled to be interviewed today Dec04 however I was advised via phone call that. I was re-scheduled Dec 06 because the embassy will be closed today. I have confirmed this by calling the embassy the next day.

Hi im a newbie here. We are on K1 proces. It is normal that the approval takes only 20days from the day we file our application.
Oct.31, 2013 we applied I-29F
Nov.5,2013- NOA1 recieved
Nov.20,2013-NOA2 recieved.. Approved..
Now we are waiting for out case number from NVC.
how long does it takes to get the case num? Thanks
Ours took almost 5 weeks. Start calling NVC after 3 weeks.

my interview will be this wednesday nov 27.@7.30am please help me if i have everything i need.
- beneficiary passport and photocooy of the biographic page( just in case theyl ask for a copy)
- 2x2 picture with white background. i will be bringing 8 just in case

- certificate of name change ( since my fiancee had her name change)
- nvc letter and photocopy of the letter( just in case)

- petitioners copy of all passport pages
- fiancee letter of intent both from petitioner and beneficiary dated earlier and address to Us embassy manila
- copy of naturalization certificate

MY approval notice is valid from 09/13/2013 to 01/12/2014, the first most available date is february 10,2014 and this is pass my validity period. what should I do? will it matter?
As of today, that is the earliest date however you may want to check everyday. This usually changes everday depending on the rescheduling or cancellation that others do.

Supposedly it should be 1099 however 2013 is not yet for filing so only your W2 2012. You may want to include a copy of your bank statements, etc.

We got our MNL case number after 5 weeks from NOA2. Here is the link to US Embassy in Manila regarding the info and docs you need for the interview. It includes the instructions.

Hi! I got case # today through e-mail. I send I asked first and it was response. NOA2 sept 10.
but I have a question: In the e-mail they wrote this:
This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. You will be notified with further instructions when the processing is complete.
IS that normal administartive proccesing and they going to send it to my embassy soon?
Yes it is. They are preparing the instructions that will be sent to your embassy. They received our case Oct 16 and yesterday Oct 21, status is in transit ( sent to embassy ). You can now start to check it on the ceac tracker site. Average waiting time for this is 5 days.

Today I received a I-797 approval notice for the I129F I filed for my fiance and there were a few things I was wondering about.
First off, it gives a valid date of 10/17/13-2/16/14- what exactly is valid?
Secondly, it says that the approved petition has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate, but there is no consulate listed- he's English so should it say "London" somewhere, or do they mean that it's been forwarded to the California Service Center?
I'm under the weather today and not able to make sense of the guides up on this site- now it goes to the NVC? For some reason I thought that it would be going straight to his consulate in the UK. How long does it take to go through the NVC, when could we expect his interview to take place?
If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it:)

You have to finish the rest of the process ( interview and medical ) until 02/16/2014.
The approved petition will be sent to NVC by CSC. This usually takes 6 weeks based on the current trend for CSC. Our NOA2 was approved Sept 03 and NVC received it Oct 16. You may start calling NVC after a month if you want to in case their process speeds up ( we started calling NVC after a month from the NOA2 approval date ).

TSC and Vermont usually sends them to NVC faster than CSC. Ours took 6 weeks. We started calling NVC after a month from our NOA2 approval date.On Wednesday our status on USCIS was updated:
"On October 16, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."
Does anybody know how long does it take to get to NVC and when we should call them for a case number?

August 27 approval still waiting for case #. What do i need to gather while waiting? Im really confuse guys pls help thanks!

It includes everything you need to know and prepare.
You may want to call NVC as well to get your MNL case number. Our NOA2 is Sept 03. We have called NVC yesterday and we already have our MNL case number now.

Hello VJ K1 Buddies! Just wanted to share to everyone that we have received our case number just today by calling NVC. So CSC K1 approved filers with similar timeline as ours, you may want to call NVC. I do know how long we have all been waiting this. Good luck to everyone.

Just called NVC and finally have our case number. Our NOA2 approval is Sept 03. So those who have the same timeline as mine, you may want to call NVC to finally get your case number. I know how long we have all been waiting for this... Again, goodluck to all!

Got mine in 5 days as well... If you would like to apply for driver's license too, do it before your I-94 expires, else you need to wait for your EAD.
