You will have an advantage if you pay the visa the soonest, sis. By the way, you can create an online profile even if you haven't paid yet just to have a head start.

These are the available dates: Nov. 5,7,12,13,14,18,19,20,21,25,26,27. As for December: 2,3,4,5,9,10,11,12,16,17,18,19,23,24.

Hi sis. Interview schedules change every minute and even if you call the USEM hotline, they would not be able to tell you the available dates unless you have told them your receipt number and ready to schedule for an interview.

If you have your MNL# already (and I assume you have already paid for your visa application fee), you can start doing your online profile at: https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/

Once your payment has been validated & you have your receipt number, you will be able to have an access to the available dates. I suggest you wait for the arrival of the remaining documents before you schedule for an interview appointment. But of course, if you're confident on the date of completion of all your docs, then you can set an appointment already at your convenience. Just fyi, you can change your appointment date online up to 2x only.

my fiance got a letter from the post...few days after we got out MNL number

its from the NVC stating that they received our petition from USCIs, AND NOW THEY WILL FORWArD the petition at the consulate in manila. and the consulate will contact your fiancee..

case: MNL000000

uscis receipt: WAC000000

applicants name: my name

petittioner's name: misspelled itsead of ''V'' they typed ''C''

will this be a big issue?

his first name's first letter is misspelled...

am planning to do all the medical and interview next month and early decemeber...

we just got our MNL case number, last Oct.24 and when i checked it on CEAC website it says READY....on that same day.

I CALLED USEM today Oct. 30 to ask if READY means our case is in the embassy i mean physically and she didnt tell me anything..

SHE just told me to wait for the letter from the USEM, the eligibility letter.

and when i checked the CEAC today...its still ready but the case updated date is OCT.30

is ready means? its really in the embassy already?

will the usem contact me?

i just dont know what to do...

email USEM they will respond and will instruct you to email attachments of both your birth certificates and passport biopage and a letter telling them you needed to correct name, or mail these to them at their USEM address. We had done this and during my interview i was amazed that they were holding the letter we mailed them telling them that we needed to correct my fiances name. it was never an issue because we were able to inform them before the interview happened...good luck!

yah we called NVC and at last that guy was able to give our case number and ask my (beneficiary's) email address....

and after that i checked CEAC online on that same day it says on our status ''ready''

case updated:oct 23

quite weird though..

no.case numbers are not found in NOA2 its found in the NVC letter.

.then day after we got our case number my Fiance received the NVC letter from post.

and oct 25.philippine time i got an email from the NVC..

yeah..i havent heard anything from USEM yet...ot the letter of instruction thing,,hihih

My fiance mispelled my middle name in filed form to USCIS, he missed to put one letter. I saw it when NVC reply to my inquiry to them regarding my new case number. My fiance called NVC today and they told him that I can correct this matter to the US Embassy in my interview day just show them my complete original documents. I felt relieved from worrying.

Oh, hmm. Mine was in the system here (https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx) once I was able to get the case number. The initial status read "At NVC".

I typed mine in with no spaces like this: SGP2013701004 (not my actual case number).

I called the NVC today trying to get my MNL # and I was told it would be 8 weeks and to call back after 8 weeks from my notice date on my NOA 2 which is September 26!

thats what they always tell us too everytime we call...

Hello, hello from wonderful Cebu! Just waiting here patiently with HONEY, and enjoying the daily aftershocks and tremors still from the earthquake. Our NAO2 date was August 27. I just tried to call NVC and it's busy phone line - can't get thru. Since it's 8 weeks now, I will call everyday all day long until they give me our number....it's the only way, or they will NOT respond. Good luck to all and GOD bless!! Is persistence a good thing?! Haha

Hi guys...I just received my case number together with checklist and instruction by mail.My case status from USCIS dint't change at all and mo email or text message and we never call to NVC at all because our lawyer told us to wait until he get our case number.Wow I really surprised today.Just keep praying and have FAITH.God Bless everyone

I received our NOA2 on September 11, 2013. I spoke the the NVC today and they received our case on October 17, 2013 and they provided me with the case number. I was surprised at the of time it took to get to the NVC. They indicated to me to check back in one week to see if they had processed the case to my Fiance's Consulate.

I hope that you get some news soon!
