Is there anybody here whose child's petition disqualifies for CSPA because petition was approved in few months?

I wish USCIS delayed the approval of my petition to my son. I filed it on Apr 2011 and got approved on Aug 2011. Yes it is unfair coz it didnt give much time for CSPA to my son. Its sad

Should at least count the CSPA from when it was filed to when its PD becomes current.

Isn't it unfair to those who age out. I filed for my son on on Apr 2011 and was approved on Aug 2011 so he only have 4 months of protection and he was 20 years and 15 days old at that time. If the situation this time happened on 2011 he could have qualified.

How long does it takes approx to get approved after filling it? I filed for my son on Apr 2011. He was under 21 yrs old was approved Aug 2011 only 4 mos for cspa. NVC sent me notice to pay and docs need to sent on Oct 2011. But they found out they made mistake that I was a us citizen. They move the petition to f2a and now it is on f2b aged out.
