  1. Hi everybody!

I posted this a couple of days ago and got no response so I'm trying again. Can anybody who have gone to their interview advise on this please? Your help is greatly appreciated.

First of all, congrats to all of those who are getting CC and to those who got I/L this week.

I have one question about the interview. We got all the civil docs (birth certificate, police certificate, marriage certificate, etc) back in Sept 2013 when we started the NVC stage. Now, we are being told we need to bring all the civil docs again to the interview at the US embassy and I was thinking on bringing the same civil docs we got back in Sept. Would that be ok or do we need to get new civil docs with current issuance date?

Also, in the medical examination instructions there are a lot of vaccinations the beneficiary should have. We called the doctor's office and they couldn't tell us which of all those vaccinations my wife should get. Do you guys know if she should get them all or some of them?

Thanks for your help and good luck in the rest of your journey!

u can carry the same civil documents if they arent expired (which i highly doubt since u got them in sept.)..police certificates are valid for 1 yr from the issuance date..so i dnt think you will need a new one. So you are ok with that.

When you go to the medical exam, carry any immunization records that you have. that will help the doctor determine which vaccines are required. You wont find out which vaccines u need until the medical exam.

  2. Thanks for your response saudade21,yes we do have joint sponsor. Hey do you mind saying how your interview went?

it went well..had to got thru the security checkpoint, then into the waiting area..and from then, we were given a number that was used to call us..the 1st window i went to, i was asked to give in my medical, passport, and pictures..and was asked simple questions "who filed for u? how old are you"..then had to wait for another 45mins for the real interview..i took the oath and the officer asked more questions.."who filed for u, how old are u...wat u intend to do in the states..wat did u study at university"...and then i had to sign some selective military service document and the ds 230..and he said i was approved..ill get my passport in 2 weeks.. that was it

  3. Good day vjers, just got a checklist asking for 2012 tax info but my husband haven't work since he went there in 2012 and he sent a letter explaining to nvc. They say he had put 0000 for the year because he didn't file so im wondering if that's the problem. Help Please! Thanks in advance

Resend that same letter, and just put $0 in the income box... also, get a joint sponsor since he has no income
