Contacted the Consulate and heard back from them today. The I-130 is still pending
. On 65 days and counting
. Hopefully we hear back from them sometime soon (this week) with notification of approved I-130. Has anyone else heard anything?

Hi everybody!
Just a quick update to share that I went to my interview in Frankfurt on Wednesday and I received my visa on the mail today!!!
We're so happy! We had tickets for October 20 and were a little scared that we might lose them, but now everything is going to be just fine.
Wishing you guys all the luck in the world!
Congratulations! Good luck over there!

Can you please keep us updated if you hear anything? Hopefully it'll be at least a couple weeks less than 90 days. Good luck!!!

Hm...Hopefully it doesn't slow it down that I didn't submit the kids'. I am kicking myself in the butt for it now!
Messaging you the contact info now!
Hi Alvanx,
I submitted an I-130 for my wife in Frankfurt on the 17th of June. We still haven't heard anything from USCIS on the status of it and we're on day 55. They said it can take between 60-90 days and we've been hoping to be closer to the 60 day part of it. My wife and I were just wondering if you'd heard anything back from Frankfurt (since your petition was submitted close to the same date as ours)? Thanks!

Hi Atenea,
Sorry to hear about the mistake that the State Dept made. Hopefully it won't take them very long to correct it. We have all of our DS-230 documents ready and have already completed the medical portion so hopefully it only takes a few weeks after the I-130 approval for us as well. We're surprised your Visa made it so soon after your interview, we're hoping we'll have a quick turnaround on ours as well (without their mistake), but it's getting nerve-racking waiting for the I-130 response since we're trying to leave within the next couple of months.
