Your experience is truly unique with using the mail. I read of many, many more that have a much less successful venture.
It is only Priority Registered Mail until it leaves the USA, then it is whatever when it arrives in the hands of PhilPost.
I think the key is generic and low $ values on customs form but yea, both packages for to her in 2 weeks. USPS Flat Rate International.
3 clothes $50
shoes $30
paperwork $0
I never claimed the perfumes, body sprays, jewelry or stuff that would get someones attention to take a look inside.

I am still pretty early in the process since we only received our Noa1 and waiting for Noa2, but with the increased pace of USCIS, I figured I would see if I could check available interview at embassy dates.
Question is, at this point, would I even be able to check the dates. If so, how can I do that?
No, will be several weeks after you get your NOA2 till you can look up dates. Need your papers sent to the NVC and then call to get your MNL#, pay the visa fee at BPI and then you can look up the schedules.
Best guess right now is mid February but you can play the gambling game to get something sooner if someone cancels for some reason.

NOA2 approved Oct 25
NVC Received on Nov 21 !!
Takes about 9 days to get to the Phil.
Hoping to get lucky with an interview between Dec 8-15. My intuition has been pointing on Dec15th for a long time now, either the interview or arrival here. Hopefully we get lucky with a cancellation at the same time she tries to make an appointment.
They just fill up that fast. Already full till mid February already!
You can take the risk and gamble of waiting for a cancellation and being fast if you see 1 come up. I just grabbed a Dec 6 last leek!!! I saw a Nov 27 on there the other day too.

You schedule USEM Interview and then want to do medical at least 2 weeks or more before interview date.
Also if you registered online with USCIS you should get an e-mail when they ship your NOA2 to NVC and then after a week keep calling till you get your MNL#

Hi guys thanks all for the quick response.I got it right finally...but it saddens me that its gonna take more than 2 months before I see my love one as he will come on our interview , which is gonna be on feb3.All our plans are ruined just cause there's no available slots from now to feb2.We planned on going to US before the end of the year and do stuffs we talked about. This is so sad and on feb 3 it will be 11 months of us not being with each other
(.
I was feeling the same. Earliest being Feb 3rd. and we were hoping for at least new years together. I keep checking the website and took the very risky move when I saw Dec 6 comes up as available. So I got very lucky. Remember though can only reschedule twice!! So if you risk and reschedule, you lose your old one and then can only reschedule 1 more which might now be a couple more days/weeks then what you already had.

schedule the soonest (feb 2014) that you can get.
reschedule if you find a better (sooner) schedule, but be warned its very risky to cancel and resched, slots get taken in a blink of an eye.
and don't forget to call the embassy to make sure your physical files have arrived. without it, you wont be interviewed.
This right here. We just did this. Scheduled for earliest, which at the time was Feb 3rd but for the first day I waited refreshing the page every hour or 2. Then Jan 30 came up so I took it. Then a few days later I login and Dec 6 was available. I took the risk, cancelled and then you go through the entire registration again, so have FAST internet. I was able to grab that Dec 6 slot!!

Did your status at TSC changed to indicate that they shipped your case to NVC? If yes when did they ship it. I have a notice date of 10/23 from TSC and got a text from TSC that they shipped our case to NVC on 11.8.13. However NVC has not receive our case yet. Thanks.
Yes, TSC said shipped 11/4

Gotta love the other centers. CSC is the worst.

Can we do the CFO before medical and interview? Already have passport, NBI, CENOMAR etc. Just got e-mail for NOA2 so waiting for hard copy of that and thought while we're waiting could get that out of the way as well.
She's in Cebu, are all the CFO offices closed there now from the earthquake or is there 1 still open somewhere?

I think it better just to get a prepaid sim card, usa usage only, and ship it to her. Have her bring her phone then swap out the sim at the POE. Is quite possible she not like what you purchase for her [women's ideas about phones are not the same as the men's ideas, la]
This here. Much easier and will cost just as much. I already had a old prepaid phone and sim. Just need to reload it and mail her the sim in my next package going out. Using her current phone I already know all my contact info is in it and she knows how to use it.

Just starting the I-129F.
So basically just have to say we talked online, she picked me at the airport, we stayed in hotel while looking for town home and she lived in town home with me for 2 months?
Then could do hotel receipt, lease agreement and photos.

Just want to make sure I cover my basis for proof of relationship and having met in person also.
I spent 2 months in the Philippines. So I'm attaching bank statements from savings account for atm withdrawals and CC statement for purchases, plane tickets we both used to fly from Davao to Cebu, 2 hotel receipts 1 in her name and the other in my name. Then also the lease agreement we had on the town home we rented. With this 7 pictures at varying dates during the trip of us and also some with me and other family members.
This going to be good enough or anything else I should include? Should I also include a few statements from my vonage phone # for communications outside my trip dates? I don't want to miss anything and make sure everything goes smoothly and as quickly as possible.

Well, my girl and I are starting our paperwork and have an issue or question. I've got dyed blue hair. Would they even accept that? It says recent photo for how you normally look and I plan on keeping the blue hair for awhile. Or should I just try to bleach and redye to more natural of what it use to look like and what's on my passport?
She's here, now what?

Well, Anne made it here and is dealing with the freezing cold temps now. We're getting married in a few weeks. She's eager to start working. So after getting married what are our next steps in this journey?
