  1. Hi,thank you for answering. I'm a little hesitated, cause mine was supposedly be delivered to my home. I've been also emailing ustravel to ask and yet they always say it's still on the process and no update available. I will try to call them again and even call the courier to make sure. Thank you :)

Let me know I just checked my status in ustraveldoc.com and it's saying the same as yours, that there's no current update...

  2. Our embassy has been closed since yesterday due to a bad storm, I've been calling ustravel but no one is answering, perhaps cause there's no one there but I hope thos storm will pass son so there won't be a probpem anymore. Thank you

I hope this storm will pass na para wala nang problema, kawawa din yung mga may appointment ang hirapaamanmagschedule.

I know! Let me know if you got your visa. I wish end of this week, maendorse na ng USEM sa 2go at masend na yung passport dito sa Laguna.

  3. My CEAC visa status as of 15 Aug 2013: ISSUED

    YAAAY!!!!!!!!

Praying that yours get ISSUED asap! Me too I can't wait! Update us!

My Status is now ISSUED! I can't believe this either I just had my interview last Monday of Aug 12th. I guess everything is fine with all the preparation and paperwork. Thank God I can't wait!

  4. As I remembered, the CO asked for:

    1. Petitioner's full name, job designation, and name of the workplace

    2. Where and when and how did you meet.

    3. Did he visit here in Philippines, when was it.

    4. What's your job and name of the workplace.

    5. When and where did you get married. Consul will ask for photos of the wedding day, I had 6 photos and I showed it to the Consul Officer.

    6. CO will ask if you and your husband have kids. Since we don't have yet, she didn't probe more about this.

    7. Asked if I got married before I married my husband. I was single before so CO asked for original CENOMAR NSO issued preferably within 6 mos before the interview date.

And after these short questions, she told me your visa is approved... I had remittance receipts, cards, Facebook messages, Skype Videocon photos and 47 photos of me and my husband, some with my family, but the assigned CO didnt bother to ask for it from me. Though, to be sure, please bring all the evidences that your marriage is bonafide with you just in case they will ask. One more tip, bring copies of all the papers you sent to NVC and USCIS, just in case they lost a copy. Like in my case, they can't find my NSO issued marriage certificate good thing I have 1 original copy with me. Before I forget, cellphones, USB, chargers and all electronic device are not allowed inside the embassy. I hope this will help you. :-)

please tell me your experiences during CR1 interview... just give me tips, some questions that the consul usually ask.. thank you It can help me and everybody here..

  5. 1 original certificate is enough.. Make 2-3 photocopies if you wanna make sure. Though if you want you could have 2 original copies of NSO marriage certificate. USEM asks for original NSO issued certificates and police clearances. So when you give an original, you still have 1 original kept for your self just in case you need it again in the future.

  6. Hi, my visa is CR1 as well. Based on my experience, we submitted our marriage certificate from Bahrain where we got married, and an NSO marriage certificate as well along with our I-130.

As for CENOMAR or certificate of non marriage aka certificate of singleness. Make sure you have this, NSO issued preferably within 6 months before your visa interview in USEM Manila. Some consul asks for this, some not. But because of scams happening here they became very strict.

In my case, I had my interview last 6th Aug and my consul asked for a CENOMAR even I'm already married to my american husband. USEM will not release my visa without the CENOMAR. I already applied for it and the USEM will get it directly from NSO pasay as per their directive. Now its been a week and I'm counting days and still waiting. I hope this could help you so you won't undergo on what I am going through now. 2 weeks to 1 month delay of issuing the visa really sucks just because of this 221g form asking for a copy of CENOMAR.

  7. I had my interview last 6th Aug,the CO approved my visa however I got a 221g form and need to submit a CENOMAR (even I'm already married to my American husband). I went to NSO Pasay as directed by the lady from the releasing counter. NSO Pasay issued my CENOMAR today however as per them USEM gets all the docs from them every Friday of the week only. It's been a week since my interview and my CEAC status states "Ready" updated as of 13th August. Though by next Monday I hope my visa status will be clearer.. Good luck to us!

  8. I had my interview last 6th Aug, the CO told me I passed however I need to submit a CENOMAR which I applied right after my interview (they will ask for this even if you're married) Once they received it they will issue my visa. In CEAC website, I checked last Aug 10 it says, Ready updated as of 6th Aug. I checked today it says, Ready updated as of 13th Aug. I called the NSO Pasay today and they told me USEM takes the NSO certificates every Friday of the week only, Hopefully, by next week I will have a ISSUED status... Can't wait.....

  9. Hi ladylex, any news if you were able to get your visa? I had my interview last 6th aug, and the consul told me I passed however I have to submit first my CENOMAR before they could issue my visa. I went to NSO in Pasay to get the CENOMAR right after my interview and as per NSO it will take 4 days for them to release the certificate and as per them the US Embassy gets the docs from NSO every Friday of the week only. This waiting time is killing me and my husband, BTW my visa is CR1, he's in military that's why we were able to expedite the processing of our papers. But when I asked the lady in the releasing counter in the embassy, who gave me the 221g form, if the approved expedite request could be applied in delivering the visa, she told me "no". It will depend.. I just need to be with my husband coz we wouldn't know if he needs to get deployed sooner... :( any advise on how many days/weeks you'd waited before you received your visa esp. To those who were asked for a CENOMAR during the interview? I would appreciate your reply. Thanks.
