My understanding is that it's 3 years (K1 visa Filipina) and 5 years for my stepdaughter (I'm the sponsor). However, it's unclear when the 3 years begins. Is it upon arrival in the U.S. or after AOS? Is it from when the permanent (10yr) green card was issued? Is it when the conditional green card was issued? (despite being over 3 years, she's still on her conditional green card). Thanks!

3 years begins after they got their green card not upon arrival

  3. hi vazpayne,

may i ask, how long it took you to finish the whole process at St. lukes? What time did you arrive and what day? is it true there's a long queue and it starts at 3am?

    thanks smile.png

St. Luke medical process takes 2 days. I arrived there at 3am and I got the number 56 so I suggest that you have to be there as early as you can ;)
