Hello does anyone get case completed recently at NVC, am so sick and tired of them, i don't know what is taking them so much time.They don't care how people feel about not being with there partner!!!!

When you're getting line busy tone re-dial as many as possible until you get through. That what i do and they will put me on hold for about 30 to 40 mins am even calling them now. Don't give up when you're getting busy tones.

part 5 line 1 it say enter the number you entered in line 7 part 3 but i put my husband name on part 2. What should i put there?

You are sponsoring 1. Like it says whatever number you put in Part 3 you put there which is 1.

As far as the Birth certificate. It needs to certified not by high court it has to be certified by the agency that gave it to you which was NPC. That's what makes it a certified copy of the original no other body can officiate it.

Your husband will have to go back to NPC and get another copy they certified it when they gave to him. he needs not have to take anywhere else.

Thanks he will be sending me original copy of it in the morning with DHL so i can get it by Friday. But before i put is name on part 3 and they sent me checklist from nvc that i don't suppose to put anything on part 3 i should leave it blank.

They are real picky about certified copies did you get it directly from the National Populations Commission?

Hello everyone, please i have some questions concerning civil documents at NVC i mail them all certified copies that came from Nigeria with stamps of certified true copy on them, they sent me another email thise afternoon that they want original or certified copy of his birth certificate and i did thise already. Secondly abouth my joint sponsor on part 2 does she put my husband name there? Thanks for you answers.

I almost want to say its a false checklist since everything is checked. Did you review thoroughly? I would call NVC if you believe you completed your application correctly and ask them.

Thanks dwheels76 i called them right away, the representative i spoke with said all the check box has to be correct. But when i sent it in all that was filled. I dont know what to do now.

Once AOS and IV is reviewed and accepted than you get Case Complete and you wait in interview queue. Nigeria is pretty fast so its all dependent on when you get case complete what round you will be in.

Yes i sent AOS in 2 weeks ago,the reason why i did not send IV packets with it is because i was waiting for his documents to come from Nigeria that why i mail that one in late. It get there on saturday but it will be in their office thise morning. Thanks again dweels76.

I don't understand what you mean what do you do? When its time to send to NVC you send it in. He needs to send to you and then you can send in all of it with the bar-coded cover sheet to NVC when that time comes.

The IV package has to do with the DS-261 and you paying the IV Bill. Once you pay that you are free to send in. Has nothing to do with the AOS package.

Click on the NVC Process Wiki in my signature and read all the documents you need to get together for your IV package.

I have a questions what are the civil documents that i have to send to NVC, and can i send it before my affidavit of support am waiting for my 2013 tax transcript or can i just send all my w2s form and my pay stubs? Hello what is the different between DS 260 and DS 261 because i filled my online to night is there any difference?

I pay my AOS payment today we are moving closer everyday, i pray he will be here before our 1st year anniversary. To those that are still waiting for their approval or case number from NVC i pray for divine speed on it.

I got my cace num from NVC thise morning i ask the lady if i can make the first fees, she said i have to wait for instructions from them. Is that going to take forever again please what should i do your input is very appreciated.

How did you process the police report? Did you have to travel to Nigeria? Or was it something done remotely?

What documents were needed and what was the cost to process it?

My husband is in Nigeria he travel to alagbon in Lagos to do it and it did not take much time. He went there with his Nigeria passport he know someone there so he pay like #1,000.

Hello everyone, am so tired of NVC up till now no case number yet i call them everyday yet no case number. Please i have a question can my husband go for his medical or we need anything from NVC or embassy before he go? Because i want him to get all his shot before coming. Thanks for your input

They got ours FEB 11th too. Still nothing, I think it will be next week before we get a case no.

i hope so because is taking taking them forever.

Hello everyone how is the weather at you'll side. Am so tired of NVC they got my case since 11 of feb up-to-date no case number yet i call twice a day for them to give me case number all what they say is they have not completed it inthere system has anyone encountered thise.

I don't know what is going on with NVC people they got my case since feb 11 no case num yet. Saylin had me to the NVC spreadsheet.

No - NOA-2 serves no purpose, it's never asked for along the way, after.

They told us today 20-30 working days max to get it entered. We were approved on the 13th of Jan, NVC reveived on the 28th and still waiting on numbers. Best of luck to you.

someone at NVC told me that today, and Monday is here again i will continue calling them untill they give me case number.
