  1. It seems bunch of us got the same misleading message last night. I also got once again the message saying that my case has been transfer on August 11.. I logged in ad it says last updated 9/9

This is nerve-racking... I keeping my hopes u that we will get it this week. Unfortunately Im outside the U.S so I cant be calling USCIS, but

Im lucky that i get to wake up with my love everyday...

    Lets keep updating any news

Yea it's was weird. Last time i check, it said my case was transferred Aug 19 (this is 3rd transfer I got). But today it goes back to Aug 11th and status update on 9/9

  2. Well at the very least you can be sure they're working through the transfers, so nightmare scenarios of them being treated as August CSC aren't coming to pass.

The second transfer mail I got was the 19th, and then approval on the 26th. Given that timeframe I expect all transfers will be done in the next week or two.

Hopefully TSC will be mostly through March by then too, because while I'm obviously grateful that I've been lucky I do feel for those still waiting with no news.

Congrat!!... It would be nice if you could add your timeline so that other members can track and estimate on their approval too.

    Thx

  3. Aug 19, 2014 got another case transfer.

  4. Awesome. Defintley a good news. Anything that takes you closer to the interview date and then approval officurse is always a good news.

Btw looking at your timeline.... th every last document you sent to NVC was on 23rd and on 24th they complted your case. Just wondering was ti really that quick? Normally they take 2 weeks and if someone is lucky its a less than 2 weeks but it seems like in your case they received the packaet, opened it and just clicked ... case complete :)

I am just looking at my case. For both my cases they have to review only one ducment..... literally only one. Everything else as been reviewed.

  5. Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage

1.Documentation showing joint ownership or property; or

2.A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence; or

3.Documentation showing co-mingling of financial resources

I don't get it on the above quote. Since my fiancee K-1 was denied, i'm planning to either do K3 or IR-1/CR-1 but not sure which is better.

    1) Is it true that K3 you can have your wife come live temporary in USA while case is pending, NOA1? if so what form needed for her to come live temporary?

    2) After we marry and she live in Cambodia, how can i add her to my banking account like the above quote?

  6. I think a lot of the denials in Phnom Penh come down to how much time is spent together, physically present in Cambodia or wherever. If you're only in Cambodia one or two times for a week or two at a time, then proving a real relationship is difficult here. Unfortunately these engagements are judged from a Western/American perspective and not a Khmer perspective.

I know. That's sux. Anyway, I can't seem to find K3 application on USCIS

  7. Was there an age difference how long you know your fiancee

Your evidence almost same as mine my fiancee is six yrs younger then me my ither evidence was that phine record that charge my high rate was my strongest evidence recommend you use . Did you have a wife before or and kid

Sorry if I ask too much questions

We're only 2/3yrs apart. I think the reason for a denial was i only visited my financée one time for 3wks. Until then i never re-visit because i cannot afford to take a no-pay vacation like the first visit i did. As many might not know, it took almost 20hrs to fly one way.

What is the best option for me now? Contact Congress to help me (how??) or go back to Cambodia and get marry then apply for I-130 and at the same time apply for K3 visa and I-129F as describe here,

    http://ww w.uscis.gov/family/family-us-citizens/k3-k4-visa/k-3k-4-nonimmigrant-visas Sorry i cannot put a link up so i put a space by "w"

    Please provide advise. Thank you

  8. Besides phone card, i also gave engagement ring receipt, pictures together, pictures with fiancee and relative, board passes, receipt of where we went while i was in Cambodia. Bascially everything that prove we're not fake. Maybe because of visit? Due work, i don't have a lot of vacation. I visited her 2 wks ever since i never re-visit again.

Mon413: Parents introduce us. I will call her tonight on more info.. Just got out from late shift work and hear this bad news.

  9. hello congratulations to you

you mentioned one of the forms you will send to embassy is copy of scanned signature of fiancee OF-169

can you please tell me what is that? i never heard of it

    thanks much

I guess it depend on your country. The (Optional Forrn) OF-169 is a checklist. See link in pdf. It's the last page. I email the consular and they said it does not need to be original signature. A copy is good enough.
