  1. Visit ur embassy's web site and go for tab Interview preparation. For biometrics, its for india only, u need to make online profile n register appointment for biometrics & photograph on any date before ur interview date. You also need to select pick up location to receive passport with visa after interview. Go to following link,it gives detail ifo abt it.

My Dad printed the whole form when he went to the interview , it's 5 pages after print

sis , what you need is the form itself not the confirmation page...there is an option to print the form

thanks, shahenaz. I was wondering about the biometrics too.

Phillip. Thanks, I have printed out the whole form, and put it together with my documents for the interview.

  2. Yes, you will need someone to take care of your child because it takes the whole day just to do the medical.

Sorry if i am asking you too many questions. I have a quick question, do we pay for the medical appointment before we go in? or do we report on the first day and get the bill, which we will pay before we come again for day two?

if we pay before, how will i know where to pay and how much to pay?

  3. Thanks, Nyosh. I tried calling them, but they don't pick up their calls. They did, however respond to my email for booking and the address is the same as the one you gave me.

Do you know if at any one point I will need to have someone else take care of my child during the medical appointment? He's three years old, I wouldn't be comfortable leaving him by himself. Should I come with someone else?

    Hi,

I got this information for the medical from the US embassy website

    International Organization for Migration (IOM)

    Migration Health Assessment Center (MHAC)
    P.O Box 55040-00200
78, United Nations Crescent off UN Avenue, Gigiri
    Nairobi, Kenya
    Landlines: 272 0060/1, 272 3605, 273 5115
    Mobile Numbers: 0731 974 031, 0731 874 027, 0734 860 686
    Fax: 272 2818

Please call and make sure that is the right place. I did my medical back in 2010 at IOM Hospital along Ngong Road but there has been changes since then. Kindly call them and confirm if that's where they are doing the medical.

To get to the US Embassy from Nairobi Town. You will take a mat. You can find these at Odeon Cinema, Tom Mboya Street, take number 11B or you can go to Khoja Roundabout and take mat number 106. Ask them to alight you at UNEP stage on the left hand side, cross the road to the right hand side. You will see a road, which is UN Avenue. Walk down that road for about five minutes and on your left hand side you will see the US Embassy.

If you confirm that the medical is being done at IOM on the address I have given above, it should not be far from the US embassy.

    Wish you luck.

  4. Hi, I am glad the whole medical process went smoothly for you guys.

I have a question. Is there need for me to have someone accompany me? Like is there a part in the whole medical process that might require me to have someone watch over my three year old while I maybe get some tests done on me?

    Thanks.

  5. Hi guys, I have been searching for a thread for guys that have interviews in September, but I haven't seen one.

(If there is one already, the admins can help take this one down so we have one thread. and let me have the link to that please.)

Those of us that have interviews in September let us update each other.

    Let me go first:

case complete in april 2014, interview date set for sept. 11 2014, priority date nov 13 2012.

  6. Thank you, both of you for your answer! God's timing is indeed perfect, I believe that we will get our interview date just in his perfect timing.

    Congrats on your case completion!

However, it depends on the visa bulletin if NVC will give you an interview schedule or not. Good luck.

Yes that's mean your case is completed....you'll be scheduled for July interview i believe because there are still march case completed folks who still not getting their interview yet...however, i can't be certain since it's all base on your embassy slots...your priority dates and the visa bulletin...
