i waited for my ssn 3 weeks after arriving in usa and then i went to the ss office and applyed. i recieved the ssn after 3 weeks from applying and the GC after 2 months. i live in NJ. good luck!

i got ir1 visa and i have poe on oct.14th. when should i expect the ss# and creen card? i know that i should wait for the green card for at least 60 days, but how long should i wait for the ss#? should i still wait for it or go to the office? thank you.

we did email and called them, but no responce.

how long to wait after sending the additional documents to the consulate in rep. of georgia? the ceac status still showing refused but the date is updated. i did not send the passport in because i need it and now i am waiting for them to contact me to send the passport. its been a week. what comes after ceac status "refused"?

am i only one waiting for my case to be cc more then 60 days? today is 63rd day and nothing so far. i called them last tuesday and they said my case is under review. since then nothing! we are using an attorney and our case is nor "complicated" at all.

any ideas?

hi sandra68. where did you get the police report? i need one and today the greek embassy in new york told me that they are not giving it anymore. they said i should go there myself(i live in USA) or send someone living there to get it for me. i am so lost, dont know what to do...

I just called Greek Embassy in NYC and they say that they are not giving Penal records anymore. I should personally go to Greece or send someone to get it.

they also said, I can hire a lawyer there to get it for me.

Does anyone heard about this?

I am not Greek, I just lived there 4 years long time ago.

Our lawyer sent our i130 to Chicago office. Our priority date is august 16th. we got NOA1 on Aug. 20th from NBC overland park, KS.
