We have been in AP for a few weeks for missing information, sent in the information needed, and when I checked today it now says Ready. How long after the ready status will the visa be issued?

Wow that's wonderful... we have been in AP for some weeks and yesterday our petition was changed to ready so hopefully tomorrow or Friday it will be issued!

Which online form do I fill out for a k-1 fiance visa.. this new online process is confusing..

AFTER receiving my NOA2, I emailed NVC with my petition number as the subject line and my name and dob and my fiances name and dob in the body of the email to nvcinquiry@State.gov. They replied in 7 business days with my case number. It seems better than staying on hold for an hour. Good luck!

I just got our case number. Can I (petitioner) fill out the DS160 online or does it have to come from my fiance (beneficiary)?

If the government shuts down will this effect visa processing? Are USCIS workers considered essential employees?

This was happening in my relationship as well. Finally I just let my family and friends know that Im happy and that's all they should be concerned with.. I think in any long distance relationship people will find a way to criticize it. I say if you're both in love don't doubt it.. every relationship has struggles.. as long as you're both willing to put in the work everything will workout.
