  1. Ok, I need someone to clarify, because one comment says to get the Civil Surgeon to fill out the vaccination section of the i-693, and if so, I'm assuming the other sections won't need to be filled out because my wife already had the health examination done within one year?

the other comment says I may not need to see a Civil Surgeon for I-693.

One question that I need to get answered is that her Visa show her entry time will be expiring the end of this month which was stamped on her passport when she arrived here on the K1. Since we're already married, we shouldn't need to worry about the expiring date that was stamped on her passport on point of entry correct?

    thanks guys/gals!

  2. We just recently got married this past December and currently in the process of completing the I485 package.

I need help with the I-693. We currently have on hand a lung Xray CD, yellow immnuzation booklet and paper work showing what shots have been done already. Since my wife has had her health examination overseas which was done less than a year, she is not required to do it again I believe.

She recently has taken the 2nd doses of her shots (varicella, MMR, etc.) recently here in the states, but it was not done by a civil surgeon. It was done at a local pharmacy/clinic and paper work was provided by the clinic which showed proof of getting the shots done.

    My question is:

    1) now do I have to find a civil surgeon who is willing to just do the paper work and put it in a sealed envelope? The clinic said this was possible and many of their patients have done it this way.

    2) I keep hearing about the DS-3025, should she had received it in her home country? I believe my wife received a packet and gave it to the immgration officer at POE.

    3) Since we were married last December and her entry stamp on her passport expires the end of this month, there should be no rush since we're already married correct?

    Thanks to everyone in advance!

  3. Sorry to revive an old thread. The answers to the OP's question is vague in my eyes and not concrete.

If anyone can please answer this question:

Do we need to get a fluent translator for filling out the addresses and previous employment history and etc?

I understand that official documents will need the below, but what about addresses and previous employment history?

USCIS Translation Policy and requested format for statement

In my situation, I can easily translate them to pinyin, but I just want to know if I need to get a translater to verify it and sign the letter above regarding the home addresses and work history?

    Thank you in advance.

  4. Hi guys/gals,

I am new on this forum and I sincerely apologize if this question has been asked many times. I couldn't find my answer from the search function, also I am very busy preparing for my trip to go see my fiancé.

So my question to you all is that I will be visiting my fiancé next month in her home country and besides the

    - pictures and receipts, (which i already have here from years back)

    - statement of intent to marry

    - G325A filled out by her

    - fiancé passport type photo

    -

Whatl else (as in tangible things) will I need to get from her for the whole k1 visa process.

Again I apologize if this has been asked many times on this forum. Thank you so much in advance for you help!
