Hi! I want to thank all of you for sharing your experiences here. It helped me manage my expectations. Anyway, I had my interview yesterday and I was informed that my visa application has been approved. Yay!

I encountered similar questions that were posted here except that I was also asked how old my husband is and how old I am. Mega compute ako. Hehe. The actual interview was quick although the queue was long. In total, I was at USEM for 6 hours. But the approval was worth the wait!

So now, I am waiting for a text from 2Go to know when my visa will be delivered. How long does it usually take for 2Go to contact applicants? I tried tracking my passport via the 2Go website, but there were no available information.

I'm scheduled for an interview one week from now. I'm preparing all the needed documents. For those who have been recently interviewed, did you bring any other documents/proof aside from those listed in the Interview Letter?

Also, for the ITR requirement, I only have my sponsor's ITR for 2012 - will that suffice? I was told that ITRs for 2013 are yet to be filed in February. Thanks!

Annndd be early. for Fiances and spouses, we were lined up at 2:30 and by 5 a.m. all slots were full.

Minors are really Friday's only.

Wow! Congratulations! I saw there were so many happy faces today--and one of them could have been your wife somewhere close by! The interviewers were in a good mood. Hehehe! i didn't do very well, but not bad either. Nevertheless i can't complain. Once i re-submit the orig papers they lost--i am good to go.

AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE GOING TO TAKE THEIR INTERVIEWS SOON--and have questions to those who had been there--just go ahead and fire away! i will gladly answer as much as i can based on my experience.

I'm scheduled for an interview on January 28. I just want to ask - is it okay for me to go out of the country while I wait for the interview schedule? I'll be back in the Philippines in time for the interview.

There's a notice to "NOT make arrangements to travel to the U.S., to dispose of property, or to resign employment until the visa has been issued" I think that it's okay for me to go out of the country since it's not to U.S. but I'd just like to have it confirmed by someone else.

as far as i know., NVC releases Interview letter in our category on last week and or first week of month..

so., PRAYING for a good news next week..

in ur 15th BD u can try and call NVC for update on ur case..

i always received an email on 16th BD..

a checklist and a false checklist though..

• NVC Case Completed: October 30, 2013

I'm now waiting for my interview schedule. It's been almost a month now since the last email from NVC (October 30, 2013). I would just like to know how long it usually takes for NVC to set the interview schedule. Thank you!

Wait, let me correct that. The two week waiting period was when I sent my DS-3032 (hard copy version of DS-261) and when they emailed me that they've approved my DS-261. (I assume that they just referred to details from my DS-3032)

The IV fee was enabled 2 days after I received an email from NVC regarding the approval of my DS-3032.

It took two weeks.

NVC has just confirmed that all my details for the choice of address and agent are with them. They must have referred to the DS-3032 form I sent via regular mail (sent August 28, 2013) and manually inputted it as DS-261. That's just my guess.

The NVC agent did mention that DS-3032 will no longer be accepted by September 2 and that DS-261 is the current valid form for choice of address and agent. You may want to call them to confirm this.

I hope your problem with DS-261 get solved quickly too!

I just received an email today from the NVC with the following message:

We received the principal applicant's DS-261 (Online Choice of Address
and Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for
paying the immigrant visa application processing fee and all future
correspondence will be sent to the agent at the address selected on the
DS-261.

Weird thing is, I have not seen the DS-261 form. So, I don't know - maybe they got the details from the DS-3032 that I sent via regular mail and email..

I'm still stuck with this problem. It's been 20 days since we had our AOS paid. It's such a bummer.

Anyway, I emailed NVC regarding this and I also asked my husband to call them for me to ask how I can access the DS-261 form. I'll let you know of any updates. Thanks!

I'm applying for an immigrant visa. My husband who's a US permanent resident petitioned for me. Our papers are now with NVC, AOS is paid already, the next step required of us is to choose the agent and address.

Initially, NVC emailed me to say that I have to send the DS-3032 (Choice of Agent and Address). So I sent them the soft copy of my DS-3032 via email and I also sent a hard copy of my DS-3032 via regular mail about a week ago.

Now, I received an email from NVC saying that the form they've received is INVALID and that I have to submit a new DS-261 (Online Choice of Agent and Address) by going to ceac.state.gov to complete and submit the form.

So, I did the following:

1. I went to ceac.state.gov, clicked on "DS-261, Online Choice of Address and Agent"

2. Logged in as the PRINCIPAL APPLICANT and logged in using my NVC case number and IIN.

3. When I successfully signed it, all that I can see is the Summary Information page. I can not click on the "IVAgent" tab or any other tab. It's not clickable at all..

So now, I don't know where I can access DS-261. Bummer. Has anyone of you encountered this problem? How did you go about it?
