Does "In Transit" show as soon as its shipped or does it take a while usually? I

My Interview Letter didn't say how to schedule the medical. or where for that matter. How do i get this info?

Writing an email to the embassy requesting is what everyone does. I don;t believe they will change over phone. If your casefile is at embassy go ask.

just called NVC no interview. its been almost 2 months since CC.

I've been waiting for an interview since May 22, one and a half months.

Hopefully Albania schedules soon. I've had CC since May 22

called NVC.. nothing yet. I think Albania just takes forever.

Are you counting business days or calendar days?

Did you receive an email that the case was complete or did you get the info by phone?

NVC received the packages on May 12, so based on my calculations it is has been 23 calendar days and 17 business days since the packages arrived.

Took about 20 calendar days. You have to call to find out right away.

Since theyre mailing these does it mean NVC is done scheduling interviews for July?

My wife is petitioning for both of her parents from Albania. We sent in the AOS and IV documents the second week of May and still haven't heard anything back yet.

The NVC took about 20 days to review my mothers application. I'm currently waiting on an interview in Tirana.

read my last post in the other thread.. I was told by a supervisor that they are done with the first round of interview scheduling as of June 2nd.

I found the website to see the number of Immigrant visas at each embassy. Albania only has about 2000 but i havent heard anything yet.

the State Dept reports about 312 per year. divide it down.. thats like 6 per week. I'd say yes !! go ahead and write that letter of resignation ! Chill out with the hubby .
