Hi!

can someone help me on this case.

My passport has been damaged recently by a passport control officer when i visited ( just my luck i know! )

but there are no cuts or smudge whatever in the visa sticker. it's just that the full set of pages was removed from the card board of the passport.

i dunno what to do i don't wanna have a renewal as of the moment until i know that my visa will still be valid even if i have a new passport.

the embassy of america here in abu dhabi is so had to reach

please can someone help me? my visa will expire this July and they said that passport renewal will take about 6-8 weeks

i just noticed that the Birthdate of my Dad in my G-325A is wrong and now i'm filling my DS-160 Form and i dunno if i should just follow the mistake or should i put my dad's real birthdate

Please help my interview is coming soon and we don't want to delay anything

there's this one confusing question, can anyone please help me

"Do you have documentation to establish that yo have received vaccinations in accordance to US law?" Yes/No

This question really just confuses me, should i answer Yes as i am to receive vaccinations upon doing my medical, or should i say no meaning that i still didn't do my medical yet.

Hello, the petitioner will receive the email from the embassy. It's composed of 2 attachments. The first attachment contains instructions and your appointment date and the 2nd contains the Hospitals and their contact numbers for the medical.

Hi we just received an email from Abu Dhabi American Embassy with attachments of K1 Visa Appointment Letter Ds-160 .doc and another word file for Physicians List.

Is this packet 3? Am i not supposed to receive like the Ds-230 and DS-157 Forms?

My interview date is not in 3 months according to the letter so does that mean that i don't have to fill up the Ds-160 online form right away or should i do it now?

hello! we tried calling every department we know actually. we called DOS, USCIS again but i think my fiance called NVC this morning. i was so happy i forgot to ask him where did he called. hehe!

my fiance called today and they said that our visa was sent to Abu Dhabi American Embassy just last October 4th, our NOA2 was dated September 12, 2013! so for those who didn't get it yet who have earlier NOA2 date call now! It might be your lucky day also:D

but now, i dunno what's next. haha!

i read that some their fiance had to pay something first but some said that packet 3 is next and we won't have to pay anything.

After I called NVC to confirm still no case rec'd, I called USCIS at 800-375-5283. When someone answered, I litterally said the following after giving my receipt #, etc:

" I am just calling to see if I can possibly find out the date my petition was sent to the national visa center. They still have not received it and it has been more than 30-days so I am just needing any help in figuring out where it may be."

The lady was not able to see anything and offered me on her own a transfer to a Tier 2 rep. I thanked her for doing that and told her I greatly appreciated her help. (( If they do not offer this on their own, I would kindly ask if there was anyone who you could speak with that might be able to locate your petition's whereabouts. State that you are just concerned as you were told USCIS would ship your petition to NVC within a 30-day time period and they have still not received it.))

I know what you're talking about with the rudeness.... had a few of those. I just thanked them anyway, hung up and called back a little later. But I'm telling you, no matter how rude the person on the other end is, be kind. Be nice, Drop complimnets, blah, blah blah. Kindness always trumps rudeness. I always end every phone call by thanking the person for all of there time and help -- regardless of if they were any help.

Holy #######! I just called DOS and they said my case is already in Rio de Janiero and they already have an interview date set. CALL DOS AND TALK TO A REP AND ASK ABOUT YOUR CASE! They may already have your interview dates set!!! CALL CALL CALL!!!

We rec'd our NOA2 on September 20. I called USCIS today and advised that it was outside of the 30 day mark and all I was needing was a date the case was shipped to NVC. I was transferred to a Tier 2 officer (had to hold for nearly 45 mins) He was wonderful and advised that our case was actually just shipped to NVC, and was received on 10/18. I would absolutely call, be super nice, and if the first rep at USCIS cannot help, ask if there is anyone who could possibly help determine where your case is.

A lot of us CSC NOA2 approvals are waiting quite a long time for NVC receipts. Fortunately, we had a quick approval to balance this out.

Anyway, best of luck and hopefully they can provide you a little more insight or piece of mind on where your case currently resides.

but how did you actually asked them? coz they're mostly rude when we call they're not very accommodating

Our 129f was approved last September 12 2013 and still no letter, no nothing from NVC

But i looked into the processing times of Visa Journey and it says there that roughly they are now processing the approvals of September 19 2013. I don't think so.

seriously, how are we supposed to know what happened to our cases. No one's giving an accurate answer. I saw some cases who got their approval June and until now they still didn't receive but i also saw cases where in their approval was September 5 and NVC received theirs already. How unfair is that???

But does anyone of you know if we can start calling our local embassy for the interview date? or should i have my medical already? My. local embassy is in Abu Dhabi and to tell you the truth they are not that accommodating when it comes to k1 visa questions

We got the approval of NOA2 on the 12th of September but we got the mail on the 16th of September.

We've been calling NVC but until yesterday they didn't receive our case yet should we be worried?

What should we be doing now? should i follow the date 12th or 16th?

We have received our NOA2 by mail last 19th September but the approval was on the 12th. I'm so confused, i read a lot of posts saying that i can ask the embassy for an interview date already, some i read called NVC first. And i cannot find a certain time frame from. NOA2 to Interview Date. i dunno if u should be getting my documents prepared already

please help ? Can someone advise me what happens after NOA2? Like the forms we should fill, and what we should be doing now?

My fiance received I-797 today. Isa that the NOA2? I'm so afraid it's not because they said it'll take 5 months and it's only been like 1 1/2 months.

If it is can someone please tell me whats the next step? I'm scared that i wont have time to complete the requirements

Hi! We have applied for a fiance visa. My fiance is in california and i'm in Dubai but my nationality is Filipino. If it gets approved, cam i go home to the Philippines and travel to USA from there? Or should i still go back to Dubai and travel from here?

My fiance got a receipt from the post office with i think the tracking number, but he lost it. Lol but he'll go to the post office today and check the shipment status. ?

but i have one additional question, how will i now the service center where i'll have to follow my case with. I saw timeframes and all here in VJ basing on the service center and i just assumed that it's the California one oz my fiance is on that stae but actually i really dont have a clue. ???

Hi, my fiance just sent our package to the express lockbox last july 19th. It's been 6 days and we still haven't received any email receipt that the facility received it. Is that normal? And how can i know which service center should we follow up our case with. We're really lost he luves in Atascadero, CA. Please help:(
