It is financial loss, extreme financial loss.. I just think we should have heard something by now. It's a catch 52, our son is due in December, and we are living in Sweden and in Sweden one of The parents has to stay at home with the child for the first 12 months and we already have a one year old since before, so I can't work to support us and my husbands visa here expires in February and can't support us staying here and he can't afford to pay for two lifestyle on his American salary.. So me and the kids risks getting homeless if we don't expedited and can move with him.. Due to the crises in Syria the backlog at Swedish immigration is so long that staying here is not an option for him..
Our situation was exactly the same as yours. We asked the USCIS expedite ans ask help of Congressman on September 17, 2013 exactly one month October 16th 2013 we got approved. Then We sent an request of Expedite NVC. NVC received our case on November 2, 2013 and November 8, 2013 our case was already at the embassy. Tomorrow, November 19th, my two years old son has an interview in Vilnius (Lithuania).
P.S We have sent an I-130 case to USCIS May 10, 2013
-
I phoned yesterday to NVC, They say that the case is already consumed their system and it will need 10-20 days to get a case number!
-
My son's case was in MSC
-
My son's 130 form was approved on 16 October after expedite. Calling to find out NVC case number and said to us that it takes 8 weeks???In my case 130 form was approved on April 10 and after a week I received a case number and was able to pay their taxes to move forward.

My sons case after expedite was - approved today
We have 3 service request - and no answer since July.
Then call congerssman office with expedite and we gave approved!

Tnank you every one!

-
i was waiting more than 8 months in VSC
my baby case in MSC - at this moment 4 months in initial review still waiting
-
what reason was pointed when refused entry to america?
-
You are probably kidding !!!In Lithuania lives three million people. And I get an interview date from NVC from case completed - after two months in october 29? I want to cry...Sad that to small country like man have in embassy so much job ((
-
try this, yes i know this is Lithuanian site, but i sent flowers to USA and Germany... Maybe it works
-
Country?
-
But the american immigration rules indicate that you have to be met in no less than two times. I read a lot of situations, that does not give a visa interview at the Embassy
-
No she can't. it will not enter the country of immigration officers as it has the potential to stay with the whole in usa. I speak from experience
-
We actually sent an all original documents : (

Really need your helpas've just received a letter from NVC and I don't understand - have already closed the NVC case. Or need to fill a new and resend I-864? Do fill in a new form, and carry them to the Embassy interview?Extracts from letters here:
______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________
NVC has completed the review of this case. However, our review of the
I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A (if applicable) Affidavit of Support form
and supporting documents that you have submitted indicates that there is
still some missing documentation.
We are sending you the attached checklist, which indicates which
documents are still missing. You should obtain these documents and
forward them to the visa applicant so they may be presented at the final
interview. The applicant must present all required forms and documents,
including the missing items to the Consular officer at the visa interview.
Please pay specific attention to questions marked in the attached I-864,
I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A checklist.
Failure to present the missing items indicated and/or to make the
necessary corrections at the visa interview could result in a denial or delay
in obtaining a visa for the sponsored applicant.
If you need a new I-864 form, please visit the Department of State website
at the following address: www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and read the
Affidavit of Support (I-864) instructions. From there you can fill out the
form online and print it to send to the visa applicant for the interview.
You will be notified when an interview has been set. Do not contact
post regarding your interview date until you have been notified.

Try really hard not to make any more mistakes.
I very much hope that the error will not happen again. My husband include in Form I-864 in affidaved of support even though the child has not yet reached NVC

It's a long a boring process but you are almost finished, hang in there!
While you continue to wait work on your English skills, which look pretty good to me.
Thank you, for your good words

I'm surprised you were in Vermont and that you weren't transferred given your timeframe. Most with your timeframe were transferred to NBC or were there originally! Interesting!
New petitions aren't sent to VSC or CSC anymore but to NBC.
ok, my story:
Explains my husband:
"As a green card holder I sent for my immediate two family members the I-130 form on April 3rd, 2012. A permanent resident can file one I-130 for the two members inclusively for a spouse and a child.Few months later I became American citizen on September 6th, 2012. Then I called the USCIS to upgrade my case status where USCIS agent suggested filing a I-129f for my spouse and my child for K3-K4 visa. On April 10th, 2013 USCIS approved my two forms I-130 and I-129f. NVC had closed the form I-129f simply to proceed on I-130 on which my child was ineligible to continue with a single I-130.NVC agent suggested sending a Form I-130 for a child. My child's form was sent on May 10th, 2013.I requested USCIS to expedite my child's I-130 form. I was advised to write a request in the mail, include the certificate of citizenship, the NOA1 receipt letter. I was assured that this will be enough to expedite. I have been waiting for two months for the USCIS to respond but no news though they promised to send a message or agent will call to me. NVC assured that American Embassy can help me in Lithuania during the interview. At this moment we have to cases one in NVC (my spouse) and one in NBC (my child)". -

Hello Everyone
How do I know from NVC when my case is closed? How will I find out the interview date? I am waiting for the interview outside US in Lithuania.

Is it possible for a two year old child to get an immigrant visa at the embassy?Does this apply to my case on LAST MINUTE CHANGES in the link below?

If USCIS expedite case it goes to NVC and again need to ask for expedite. If NVC Expedite - sends you a email that your file goes to embassy and there will need to collect documents and pay the fee.
Our letter from NVC:
Dear Sir/Madam:
The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: VIL20138**** filed by ******* on behalf of ********.
Your request for the expeditious processing of this immigrant visa petition is currently under review. You will be informed of the results when the review is completed.
To complete your request for expeditious processing, we need two foreign phone numbers for the applicant.
Please email the numbers to NVCExpedite@state.gov. We will update the case once we receive your email.
IMPORTANT:
