    Just got a request for initial evidence..

      as in further evidence needed?? did they give you examples of evidence that they need from you? and what evidence have you submitted so far?

      Yeah for our financial I-865 affidavit of support, we have a joint sponser and didnt realise that my husband needed to do one as well.. (sounds stupid now i just wrote JOINT) but we have now got to get his done, and trying to get his taxes in order and also his mum's (joint sponser's) birth certificate. oops

      Yep the petitioner (your hubby) has to sign one, then the co-sponsor (your MIL) also has to sign one.
